Much smaller than I thought, but at the same time a nice size for the size, if that makes any sense. The lid doesn't click on, which makes it a little flimsy feeling to me, but it's got a nice aesthetic and it functions.

I replaced my old Brabantia, which I had for over 10 years with the new model. First of all it is not the same quality anymore but a higher price. The "New removable lid" doesn't fit perfectly so it keeps wiggling. Also the one I got was clearly a "return" as you can see that the box was taped afterwards. I wish Amazon would clearly point this out. And lastly the plastic bottom was not properly in place and I had to fix it with a screwdriver on my own. The only reason why I did it was the fact that this one is not even available for order anymore so I couldn't replace it. I can't use the warranty with Brabantia as they refer to Amazon and get it returned to them. Just not happy about it ... show more

Worth the price! This is the ONLY trash can that our German shepherd who is too smart for his own good, cannot push open with his nose. We bought this after he ate 25 chicken bones out of our old trash can. He hasn’t been able to open this one at all. Previously owned an earlier version in black. This newer version has a sturdier latching mechanism which we like. Can remains very sturdy and easy to remove garbage bags. Highly recommend seller since product was well protected during transit.

Have used this can in my kitchen for probably 10+ years. I remember it being very expensive, and a luxury at the time. The lid finally broke after heavy, daily use. Wanting an immediate replacement, I bought another brand at a local store, over $100 for that one also. After two days of annoyance with a step on lid, I ordered another identical Brabantia. I had the largest round Brabantia trash can for about 13 years!!! It was still in great condition but I moved into a smaller apartment so I gifted my previous one and purchased this new 30L.
