So far these work well for me. I started with 1 wired at 1 ohm and it wobbles on a meer 50 watt bazooka mono. Decided to try 2 at 1 ohm and amp started clipping. Now running same 2 at 4 ohm and it sounds good and clean but need more amp. So next is 3 wired @ 1.3 ohm on a 2 ohm monoblock under the rear seat truck box. So far cant beat them 3 for $90 ... show more

I’ve had a few of these in different sizes and they do hold their RMS rating quite well. They need to be broke-in for a few hours at lower volumes before running them up to the RMS wattage. Do not expect to get max wattage. You will blow them. Think RMS is the actual max.

    • Good value but can't handle 500 watts rms.
I bought this sub just to hold me over until I could afford something better. It has surprised me. I have it hooked up to an Alpine 500 watt RMS amp wired for 2ohms. It plays loud enough for most people but if I turn it up too loud I can hear it bottoming out.
