This sun sounds pretty awesome. Especially at the price point of $160ish bucks. Now, I have found that since the enclosed box is only 7 inches thick at its widest point, this bass is a littler tighter sounding than my previous 12 inch Rockford discard enclosed sub in my old car - that one rattled the mirrors a little more. This one vibrates the rear view mirror a little, and I can still feel some bass. For an SUV cab, it’s plenty without hurting my ears and can still slap. I also went with the low-profile enclosure so it doesn’t take up much storage space. Overall a very good subwoofer purchase. I do wish it came with a detachable wire hook-up plug like my old Rockford fosgate did when I needed to remove it for storage space. But I found Scoche sells one for about $20. If you’re looking for a powered sub for under $200, this is a fantastic options ... show more

Works great for some good bass. Its not rattle your truck loud. But it does pack a pumch for its size.

The sound quality is excellent for the price point. It was relatively easy to install. It is a bit bulky and doesnt fit well in my RAM 1500 but once I mount it to the floor board between my front and back seat it should be fine. The kit doesnt come with all of the wiring, you have to buy it separate. I bought a wiring kit from Walmart for $25 which worked out well. The subwoofer comes with a durable box that should last quite a while if taken care of. It hits pretty hard in that small space. ... show more

Haven’t had any issues, I work in parts sales and I already know 99% of electrical issues are user error and not because of the product. This seemed pretty simple to wire especially since the amplifier was built into it. Doesn’t fit the space because the dimensions do NOT include the sub sticking out of the box…the dimensions are just for the box. Not very powerful at all. does not adjust properly. Sounds fine but low end.
