  • Simple setup and crisp
Color: Off-white
I’ve only had the Aurzen BOOM Mini with Google TV for a day so far, but first impressions are really good. The biggest thing I noticed right away is how convenient it is having Google TV built in. I didn’t have to hook anything up—Netflix, YouTube, everything was already there and super easy to navigate. It honestly feels more like using a smart TV than a projector. Setup took basically no effort. I turned it on and it automatically adjusted the focus and screen, which was a nice surprise. No messing around trying to get it lined up. The picture looks really clear, especially with the lights down. I haven’t tested it much during the day yet, but at night it looks great for movies and shows. The sound is also better than I expected for something this small. It’s definitely good enough to use on its own, at least for casual watching. Obviously I haven’t used it long-term yet, but so far it seems like a really solid, easy-to-use projector. If it holds up, I can see this being great for movie nights or even taking outside. ... show more

  • It's like being at the movies It's like being at the movies
Color: Black
This little projector has everything you need: good picture, great sound, the ability to cast from your phone, and HDMI inputs to connect other devices such as a gaming console. If you want to level-up your couch potato game and watch movies while fully reclined or lying on your back staring at the ceiling, well, this is it. Why bother sitting up straight watching a normal TV when you can lay completely down and watch a movie on a 160inch picture on your ceiling? It's great and you maximize your ultimate inner lazy. This projector is housed in it's own stand, so there is no need for a tripod and you can even rotate it completely vertical. This makes it easy to setup and not have to bother setting perfect angles all of the time and messing with tripod settings. The projector uses the Google Home system and I'll be frank, I've never used Google Home before. I needed to download the Google Home app and the setup on the projector walked me through setting up everything. Google Home is quite extensive and I don't really use much of the features outside of streaming channels but there is a lot to it. You can setup a screen saver, use your own pictures as a screen saver, use AI generated images to display, set up different device locations - it was a bit much for me, but once I was taken to a screen where I could add channels, everything else was a breeze and you can disregard everything else. I was able to add Hulu, Disneyplus, Crunchyroll, MAX, Netflix, Youtube, etc, pretty much everything. Setup took about 10-15 minutes as the projector goes through this "setting up" phase and once that was completed, we were in business. Turning the projector on from a shut off state will take you to screen where different shows from all of your channels are displayed, things you have previously watched, recommendations, and channel lists. Lovely. The setup menu is quite extensive and I spent quite a bit of time optimizing everything to my liking. That said, here are some tips for those that which to project onto the ceiling. I have the projector far enough to display a 160inch screen. but first things first, you need to fix the focus and keystone settings. There are automatic settings for this, but I got much better results just manually doing it myself. For sound, I have it set to Movie Mode which I found to be the most enjoyable. The speakers are quite good (phenomenal really) in a bedroom but in a large living room you may want to hook up a separate speaker system suitable for Home Theater. There are 3 different backlight settings: ECO, Standard, and Vivid. I suggest using ECO or Standard as the fan does get louder the higher you go. I use ECO myself as in a dark or dim room, the difference between Standard and ECO isn't much but the fan is much more quiet. As for picture settings, there are some things to consider. HDR streams and non-HDR streams are independent of each other, so you can use different settings between the two. However, HDR washes out the color of the picture and encourages you to turn up the brightness and color settings out of what is normal. I did not want to do this, so I turned off HDR on HDR streams. As for my settings: Auto Brightness: Off, I want stability and I don't like the fan getting loud Brightness: 49 Contrast: 53 Saturation: 66 (needed because I am projecting onto a ceiling, which is not pure white and not a "projector screen" HUE: 0 Sharpness: 12 Advanced Settings Color Temperature: Warm most of the time, if you're watching in the middle of the afternoon then Standard DNR: Off MPEG NR: Off Max Vivid: Off Adaptive Luma Control: Low or Off (I prefer low as it helps with black crush, or low lit scenes. Also it improves the picture most of the time but keep in mind this can sometimes cause skin tones to appear more yellow or red.) Local Contrast Control: Off Flesh Tone: Off DI Film Mode: Off (This disables a lot of the post-processing "enhancements" Blue Stretch: On (This compensates for for the lifted Saturation value) Low Blue Light: Off As you can see from the photos, picture is fantastic. If you want to watch stuff on the ceiling like me, this is it. ... show more

  • Perfect bridge between bedroom cozy and patio cinema
Color: Black
I’ve been using this as my main bedroom projector (it looks great on the ceiling!), but it’s so easy to just grab and take to the patio. The 1080P resolution is definitely noticeable—everything looks sharp and professional. I really appreciate the transparency on the ANSI lumens; it’s refreshing to get exactly what you paid for. For the best outdoor experience, I highly recommend pairing it with a decent soundbar or Bluetooth speaker. The internal audio is surprisingly clear, but for that "big screen" feel on the patio, the extra bass from an external speaker really makes a difference. It’s basically a plug-and-play smart hub that goes wherever you go. ... show more

  • Good price for decent quality and ease of use
Color: Black
Picture is clearer than other projectors I've seen. Picture adjusts when projected at an angle so it ends up square on the wall. Easy connection to wifi and has many different streaming apps, you just need to log in. Sound is just ok but easily pair to external speaker. I wish it were smaller to hide away when not using it. ... show more

  • Beautiful colors, bright image, and super easy to use! Beautiful colors, bright image, and super easy to use!
Color: Black
I’ve been using this projector for a week and I’m really impressed! The picture quality is bright and clear, even with some lights on in the room. The colors look vivid and true to life — animated movies and games look amazing on the big screen! Setup was simple and the UI is very intuitive. I also love how quiet the fan is compared to other models I’ve tried. The build quality feels solid and premium. Definitely great value for the price — perfect for movie nights or gaming! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good price for an outdoor projector Good price for an outdoor projector
Color: Black
I’m really happy with this projector. It looks super nice — clean, modern, and it fits perfectly on a table or shelf. The build feels sturdy and well made, and the simple stand gives it a nice touch. The focus dial on top is easy to use, so adjusting the picture only takes a second. It runs on Google TV, which I love because everything I need is already built in — Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime Video, and more. I didn’t even have to plug in a streaming stick or anything; it worked right out of the box. The interface is smooth and easy to figure out. The picture quality is excellent — sharp, bright, and colorful. Even with a bit of light in the room, the image still looks great, and you can adjust the brightness depending on your setup. Overall, it’s a great projector — sleek design, super easy to use, and the picture quality really stands out. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for something for movie nights or a simple home theater setup. ... show more

  • Impressive Brightness, Strong Audio, and Excellent Large‑Screen Performance
Color: Black
The BOOM Mini delivers far better performance than I expected at this price point. The image is sharp with good color accuracy, and it holds up surprisingly well even when scaled to a 200‑inch screen in my garage. Brightness is strong enough for dim‑light environments, and the onboard processing handles motion and upscaling cleanly without noticeable artifacts. The built‑in speakers are the standout feature — loud, full, and clear enough that I don’t need an external soundbar. For a compact projector, the audio output is impressive and easily fills a large space. Setup was simple with Google TV, and streaming apps run smoothly without lag. For the cost, the overall value is hard to beat. This has basically replaced a TV for us, and it’s become the go‑to setup for me and my son. If I could rate it higher than five stars, I would. ... show more

  • Cool projector for the money and works as a smart TV
Color: Black
The bad: I’m not sure if this is something particularly wrong with my unit or if this is something normal for You to expect. While on, the screen will just stop working. I’ll have to turn it off and turn it back on. Then it still might not even display on the wall (even though the numb turns on) and I’ll have to unplug it to get it to work again. The good: Other than the above problem. It’s cool it has speakers and they are loud enough. I use it as a living room entertainment, during daylight hours you do sorta have to shut the blinds. Low quality with a lot of light. Nice big screen that people are impressed by ... show more
