I bought this paper shredder and couldn't be happier. The thing shreds paper very well and quickly with its powerful and quiet motor. Some thing that really make this one stand out is that the motor actually has a cooling fan unlike past units I have had so you get a longer run time and less stress on motor from heat. This unit also has reverse which is nice for plastic or thick file envelopes. The automatic feature works very well and is sensitive enough that it's not a fight to try and make the thing start like past units and it runs long enough to complete the shredding once it passes through the sensor. The bin has a cabinet and works like a drawer which actually works better than expected. The shredder head locks onto the cabinet very snuggly and feels solid. It has casters with locks which makes it handy to roll around or lock in fixed location. I like the weight of this unit because it's heavy enough to make a firm placement but not heavy by any means. The only thing that really would have been nice is if it had grips on the side of the cabinet to easily pick the unit up as a whole. Overall, I'm very pleased and feel that with proper care, this thing is going to last me a very long time.

This paper shredder far exceeded expectations! The description states that it has a 15 minute continuous run time, but I have been continuously running it for an hour every three hours since last night and it has yet to overheat! I also have to point out that I did mistakenly run a metal credit card through it ( had no idea metal credit cards were even a thing!) causing it to jam. After waiting five minutes (the panic that I broke it had to subside) I turned it back on hit the reverse function and the card came back out. Since then I have managed to shred for another half hour and it is running perfectly. The blades are working just as they were before that dastardly mistake. This shredder has been extremely easy to use and as long as you keep the bin low there seems to be no problem. I highly recommend this shredder and have no buyers remorse!

To be honest I wish I would habe spent the money on this shredder many years ago. I love that will cut 12 pieces of paper at a time, it has wheels so it can be moved around easily, the shred basket, pulls out without the lid having to be removed for easy dumping and that it has lights letting you know when it's overheated and needs to rest. The best house hold shredder I've ever used and I've had several.

The purchase was for home use. The shredder was securely packed in the box, inside a bigger Amazon box with about 10 inches of airspace. Fortunately, there was no damage to the shredder. I was able to shred and filled the bin 3/4 full. Noticeable paper dust on the top and also caked paper clumps on the underside. Thicker clumps on the edges. No issues with shredding credit cards. I did not try feeding “12” pages to avoid jamming on the first try. The noise level is moderate. I’m hoping this unit will provide great value in terms of its features and cost. I have purchased Fellowes shredders for business use, but wasn’t able to justify spending a few hundred more.

Shredder has performed exactly as advertised. We have used it to shred several years off papers and it has handled it all without any issues. For the price point I would say there is not a better shredder available than this one. I would highly recommend it.

Bonsai C-282a Love this shredder! So does hubby. Wheels roll well. Pull-out bin is great. Bigger window than my last two shredders. Maybe I won’t burn it out because I don’t empty it soon enough with a bigger window (like last 2 shredders). It’s just an awesome shredder. Takes 12 sheets.
