Overall, I really like this chair. With how big it is and how plush the seat, headrest and lumbar support are it feels like I'm laying down on a comfy couch when I'm rocked back (I'm 5' 11", 185 lbs). But where it excels in comfort, it lacks in adjustability. You can raise/lower the height of the chair, flip up the armrests, and adjust the orientation of the headrest, and that's it. When you rock the chair back, you're rocking the whole chair, with the seat and armrests. At first I wasn't a huge fan of these design choices, but after a few days of use I've learned that I can live without the adjustability. The lack of adjustability makes for a more sturdy chair with less points of failure, and the armrest don't point up very far, if at all when you're rocking the chair back. So if you can live without being able to adjust various parts of the chair, go for it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I almost never do reviews, but I had to for this chair. First thing I love about this chair is how easy it is to put together. It took maybe 15 20 min where with other chairs might be 30 min to an hour when the holes and bolts don't line up properly. The next thing is how comfortable it is for my bad hip and bad back. Great seat cushion that doesn't flatten and the back and head support is great. I am 6 ft 1 and the height is great for a tall person. The only thing is I wish it was a little bit wider for my butt since I am a big guy at 380 pounds. In the end this is a great sturdy comfortable chair at a great price!

This chair is just what I was looking for. I'm 5'6" and heavy. I've tried other chairs that seemed right on day 1 but within a week I felt like I had to fight to stay in the chair instead of it sliding me out forward. This one has more of a bucket design so I feel more supported. The chair itself feels sturdy. It can tip back but stops itself at an angle where I don't feel like I'm in danger of toppling. There is no built in footrest which suits me fine, the other chairs that have had one didn't feel strong enough to support me and would slide out willy nilly and get in my way. I like the headrest, my son who is taller doesn't so he swivels it back so it's out of his way. The arm rests are okay for me but they also can lift out of the way if I don't want to use them. The chair rolls easily on my floor. I waited a few weeks to review it and I'm at least as pleased now as I was when it was brand new. My son assembled it so I can't comment on how way it would have been for me to do it. I'm sure there are even better chairs out there but I've spent more before and been less happy, especially for the price point this one is a winner.

Edit: 2 years later and this chair is cooked. The headrest became loose within a year and no longer hold it's position with any pressure applied to it . The locking mechanism for leaning back no longer works. The gas high adjuster for the seat did hold up as well as the wheels and arm rests. . The biggest fail point for the chair is going to be the plywood base. Mine were out over time and eventually started to crack anytime you lean back. If this thing were made of anything more solid than plywood it would be a great choice for a chair that would last. Overall I got a year and a few months out of it before it became unusable or uncomfortable to use daily I'm 6'6 & 350lb and this chair works like a dream. I was concerned the chair wouldn't hold up as many that claim a higher max capacity weight, usually don't actually support it. I sat in this chair and held 2 25 pound weights above my head in the upright and leaned back position and didn't hear a creak or have anything break. Now I'm not advising you to use this this to lift weights, but that was 400 pounds on the chair and it took it like a champ where other would squeak for mercy lol. Easy assembly, took maybe 30 minutes to get everything set up while following the assembly video in the product pictures from the manufacturer, so kudos to them for that. The main thing I was looking for was back support and I'm happy to report the back support here is excellent. I feel no back press after sitting in it for a few hours straight both leaning back and upright. There's a little removable pillow in the back of the chair that can be adjusted for an ideal personal fit. The arm rests do not swivel or adjust, only go up in a position beside the back of the chair or down, which help when trying to put the chair under a desk if your desk isn't necessarily enough. While it wasn't a favor for me, it may be for some. The chair does sit relatively high on the highest setting if you're under 6 feet, but on the lowest setting my 5'7 partner was able to have their feet flat in the ground, so this chair could work for you if you're under 6 feet but above 5'2 on the lowest setting. Just crank it up for when you want to swing your feet like a kid if anything lol. The roller skate style wheels are something people pay for separately for on other chairs to reinforce support and not mess up carpet, so the fact that this chair came with them as a default was a major plus. The headrest snaps into 4 positions for added comfort when leaning back. This chair is everything I could ask for coming from one of those crappy gaming chairs; between the comfort and the ease of setting up, it's an easy recommend for my larger friends.

This is the best office chair I have ever purchased as far as the hydraulics go! I am a very heavy person and I have purchased chairs with a high weight limit before, but eventually the hydraulics start to fail and the chair doesn't want to stay up. This one won't stay DOWN! Every day, the first time I sit in it, I have to move it down a notch. Throughout the day with me getting up and coming back and rotating around, it moves back up again. Thats not a bad thing!! I have faith that this is going to last a while and not leave me sitting on the floor. The only thing I don't completely like about it is the back. Its not uncomfortable, but it leans backward. It gives lumbar support but the top half might as well not be there - especially the head rest. I would have to curve back pretty awkwardly to put my head on that headrest. Thankfully that is not something I need or care about

this is a very comfortable chair, I like it a lot. The model I had was sold with the rollerblade type wheels, and over time the chair didn't want to roll forward any longer, it was very frustrating. I'm 290 pounds, nowhere near the 400 pound limit, so I don't believe the chair should have failed like it did. That may be why they only sell this model with the dual-wheel casters now. I'm glad I purchased the warranty, otherwise I'd be shelling out $200+ for a new chair. Also, the headrest is fragile, don't let your kids mess with it too much.

I love this chair. The cushion is very supportive. Its not super soft. It holds it form. The fabric is on the more durable side rather than soft and luxurious. That's fine with me. The rollers are the smoothest and effortless that I have ever experienced I do not use this chair with a head rest. Never have used one nor ever will, so cannot comment. The flip up arms are super convenient when I want to play guitar. They do move all the way 90 degrees so thats super convenient. Not many chairs do A lot of things of Amazon, at least furniture, kinda disappoint me. Usually cheaper than expected. This is the first time that I was thoroughly impressed. My friend bragged to me about some fancy gamer chair all the streamers buy and asked me to sit on it to experience such comfort. IMO it is pale in comparison to this chair by BOLISS. That said, the one thing you need to be cautious of is it is a tall chair. My girlfriend who is 5'2", her feet doesn't touch the floor. Also, this chair cannot tuck under my desk. If I had an adjustable height desk, it would be easier but I don't. This doesn't bother me though but it might others, so I brought it up

I need a chair, so I'm keeping this and will give it a shot, but my first impressions are far from good. Assembly was going well until I had to attach the seat to the back, when I ran into a threaded insert which I could not thread any of the screws into (with the back removed to check). I ended up having to break out a tap and die set to chase the threads which fixed the issue, however this is unacceptable since most folks won't have that tool to fix a defect like this. Once assembled I tried it out and it was a bit wobbly on the base, though I had seated the cylinder correctly. The headrest, even when rotated (it does not move up and down), was not comfortable, so I am gonna see about printing somethin to fix that. The headrest will just barely rotate out of the way and if I were just a bit taller I'd have to remove it since it would land in an uncomfortable spot. The only saving grace for this chair is the material quality and the lumbar support, the pillow design seems like a good way to go. The rollerblade wheels are also a plus. The arms have no adjustments, but they do swing out of the way, so I feel that is a neutral point. The seat cushion itself is frim and has good side bolsters, like a cheap car seat. It may get uncomfortable since there is little give, but I will find out when I have to use this chair for a full day. I would not buy this chair again, but as it is, I feel stuck with it. I think if I rework the headrest support, I can make it work for me. I would not recommend this chair for anyone who is big, or those over 6', since the seat will probably be uncomfortable due to the bolsters, and the headrest has limited rotational adjustment. Edit dropped a star since this chair does not recline much and will not lock in the reclined position. It requires keeping some tension on the back all the time to keep it reclined which becomes very uncomfortable. I'm considering sending this back or giving it away.
