  • Overpriced toy
I remember these little wind up boat motors from when I was a kid some 40 years ago. Man that was a long time ago. It is funny that these are being rebranded as novelty coffee cup stirrers. I feel two stars for this review are appropriate for the following reasons: - The plastic that the boat motor is made of feels cheap and ready to break. - The transom mount bracket is small and only fit thinner mugs at the same time feeling like it’s going to snap. - This should have been made in a long shaft motor instead of short shaft because the propeller barely sticks in the fluid in the cup. - Price seems pretty high for basically a toy that doesn’t even come with a boat. The only reason it got two stars and not one….. It got some good laughs as a gift. ... show more

  • Great Fun, But Missing a Key Part
This unique novelty coffee stirrer really drives my fishing buddies crazy. It’s a load of fun even though it only stirs the top layer of your beverage. Very easy to use (just wind it up), and easy to clean. Fits easily onto the edge of a thin-walled coffee cup such as a paper, Styrofoam or Solo cup. Unfortunately, the two stirrers I received did not include the larger metal spring clips seen in every one of the Amazon listing photos. That larger clip would allow the stirrers to fit cups and mugs with thicker walls. ... show more

  • A little gag.
Just a novelty wind up toy x 2. Gives a smile. Won't really stir more than the top 1/8 inch of your drink. Even for two it seems way over priced.

  • Hilarious Concept, Disappointing Execution
I purchased the boat motor coffee stirrer as a white elephant gift, and while it’s undeniably funny, that’s about where the positives end. Unfortunately, one of the propellers was broken when I received it, which made the whole experience a bit of a letdown. The stirrer is essentially a wind-up toy, and I can’t imagine actually using it for coffee even once. On the bright side, I’m considering 3D printing a boat for my daughter and repurposing these as tiny outboard motors, so it might have a second life in her playtime. However, with one already broken, it feels like a waste of money for something that didn’t even arrive in good condition. While the concept is amusing and might get a laugh in a gag gift exchange, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, it’s a clever idea with poor execution that left me disappointed. ... show more

  • So cool!
It spins and shoots any liquid inside out and into the air! Suggest holding the top of the cup with your hand when using it for the first time.
