    • Adidas Men's Grand Court - a comfortable and perfect fit
The first and foremost thing I liked about these when I found them here (aside from the price, the style/color and the fact that I'd been fond of these since high school, but hadn't owned a pair since then) was THE SIZING CHART. I've found that there are some shoes you really have to try on in the store because one pair of 9.5s might not fit like the other 9.5s you own. In some cases it works (vans=airspeed=OP), but at the same time, I've got a pair of K-Swiss and a pair of Reeboks in my closet that are both size 10 that fit like they are supposed to. So you can either go by the brands you know, or roll the dice on a brand you haven't worn in some time. Fortunately the sizing chart for these gave the conversion from inches to shoes size and these couldn't fit more perfectly. They were literally dropped in front of my door minutes before I was being picked up for a day trip. I saw they had a mesh inner lining and decided it would be good without socks for the day (I rarely wear them this way, but occasionally I do). Normally and thinking back on my decision, this would've been a bad move. I mean wasn't going to be doing an extensive walking, but it was hot and humid and they are partially leather and I didn't even get a chance to throw some Dr. Scholl's in them. In the end after a day out and about, the perspiration was minimal, the smell was non existent and my feet felt like I'd been walking around as comfortably as in my memory foam house slippers. The only "odd" thing about them would be that they APPEAR to be more narrow than the usual sneakers I own and have worn, but there is absolutely no tightness around the sole, or arch, or anywhere you'd think there would be. The treads have a very interesting overlapping octagonal shaped tread pattern that feel like they grip any surface very well. Time will tell on the durability, but everything I'm seeing from material and stitching seems well done. This appears to be a top notch purchase that I'm fully satisfied with as of this writing. Should there be a significant change you can be certain I'll be back to update this., but if they hold up I'll probably consider purchasing the opposite color pattern (predominantly white with black trim/accents). ... show more

I love the classic look of these shoes and they are so comfortable . Had to add these black ones to my collection and balance out my white pair. I wear them mostly for casual wear, not for working out. These were on a 50% off sale and weren’t easy to find. I’m an Adidas junkie and I highly recommend these super shoes, especially for the price ... show more

    • Good shoe, bites in the ankle/Achilles
These are a true-to-fit shoe, but if you don’t wear ankle socks or higher you risk tearing your Achilles area where the back of the shoe rubs in. Perhaps with wear they’ll stretch and change the way they fit but as of now, these necessitate socks. The cloudfoam liner is a really comfortable footbed and for a fashion sneaker they’re great. I usually wear a euro 40, men’s 8/ women’s 9.5 shoe and they fit as they should and like all adidas shoes I’ve had. I wouldn’t wear them for exercise but for casual walking they’re a good shoe. I wear them with a bombas quarter ankle sock, and it’s a little tight but very comfortable. ... show more

Really nice shoes but unfortunately I didn't read the reviews first. Ordered a size 9, my son's normal size, and they were too small! His toe was squished in there! Wanted to return/exchange them for one size up but the price difference was DOUBLE of what i paid for the size 9's so that was a no-go. These are my new everyday shoes. They look and feel great and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. More importantly to me, though, is they’re comfortable to wear all day long with more arch support than I expected (I have problems with Converse because the soles lack arch support). I am not sure what people expect for a pretty cheap pair of sneakers that retail for a cheap amount. I think that they seem like a forty or fifty dollars pair of sneakers, but I know some have said that they do not last and break apart easily. I have only had them for a few days, but I do not think that they will just break apart. I think it really more comes down to how you use them or wear them. I would say they are more meant for casual wear than anything else. I think that it you are using them for more athletic purposes that the wear on them could make them look pretty bad quickly.
