Description

Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 3600-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 3600 surge watts and 2900 rated watts of power Our 149cc engine operates at a modest 65 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 3600W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight 46-pound design makes for easy portability while the ultra- efficient 1.6-gallon tank provides up to 5 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Easily link up any two WEN inverter generators using a WEN Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage amongst multiple units. Low-oil and low-fuel automatic shutdown combine with the built-in overload protection and indicator lights to safeguard both your generator and your electronics from damage. And because this is a WEN Product, your inverter generator comes backed by a 3-year limited warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians and a friendly customer helpline. Remember when your generator powered your electronics safely and quietly? Remember WEN.

  • Great generator for camping, easy to use, good power
Style: 3600W
This arrived quickly and initial set up was easy. My Amazon delivery driver was very friendly. I cycled this for 8 hours, on and off eco mode, first no, then minimal load, to break it in. Afterwards, I took it into my kitchen (please don't tell my wife) and I changed the oil. The next day, I tested it out on my camper and used the air conditioning (13K BTU). The generator accepted the load with no issues. The generator is very easy to start, even when cold. I like the gauges and I find it to be pretty quiet. The size is great, because if I choose to, I can store it in my camper, under my lower bunk storage. Even when doing this - I noticed no gasoline smell after driving home. I'm curious to monitor the fuel consumption. On a hot day of testing with the A/C on constantly, I only got around 4 hours on a tank. But again, the generator was barely broken in, and it was a very hot day. All in all I do not foresee any issues with this generator. I think it will serve my needs well. It seems very well built and is easy to use. I like having the power option when I need it. I do recommend this generator for camper use and otherwise. ... show more

  • Works well and starts every time.
Style: 3600W
We bought this to supplement battery power for our camp trailer. We received two weeks ago and put it to use at our hunting campsite. It has only run for about 40 hours. Once I remembered to stop and start it in standard mode (not eco-mode) it typically started on the second pull, and the pull starter operates easily. I did start it one morning just to test it when the temperature was 14 deg. F and it took 4 pulls that time. It easily started and ran our air conditioner, which was again, just a test. I normally ran it from 5pm to about 10 pm when I got back from hunting until bedtime. During this time it was powering the furnace fan, typically 4 led interior lights and was recharging the 12v battery that had been powering the furnace and lights during the rest of the day. (My wife stayed in the trailer most of the time). It typically showed 2 bars of power usage (50% I think) and then dropped to 1 bar a bit later, most likely when the charge rate for the battery slowed. During this 5 hour run time it use about 1 gal of gasoline which seems pretty fuel efficient to me. I did run it for about 8 hours once but it still showed 1 bar for fuel. I really appreciate the fuel and power gauges, and eco-mode seems to work well. The generator was place under the awning of our trailer to keep it out of rain and snow so it was close to us. While we were inside the trailer it was a gentle purr that that didn't interfere with conversation at all. It was basically obscured when the furnace came on. It is well designed, and I really like the single control switch. There is no hunting for the choke or fuel shutoff when you get ready to shut it down for an extended period and you need to run the carburetor dry. All the functions on this control switch seem to work well. At 48 lbs. (probably dry, though it doesn't say and which would put it at about 68 lb with full fuel and oil) I wouldn't call it "lightweight". I'm 78 and can move it around and place it on the tailgate of our pickup with one hand (the handle on top is greatly appreciated), so it's not too heavy to manage. The ground was very wet so I placed the rubber feet on 2x6 planks and it never vibrated itself off those planks. I changed the oil twice during this period of use. After initial break in, the recommended oil change interval is 25 hours of run time (it does have an hour meter) so if you run it 5 hours a day, you should be prepared to change the oil for an extended trip. There is no oil filter, hence the short interval. All in all, I'm quite pleased, so far. ... show more

  • Best generator
Style: 3600W
You can't beat the price and quality. I own a plumbing company and have switched out all of my generators to Wen. They last much longer than even the big name generators, run better, put out more power, and are quieter. You cannot beat the price.

  • Good for travel and emergencies
Style: 3600W
This generator is pretty handy when I go camping or need power at a job site. it's lightweight enough to carry easily and doesn’t make a lot of noise, which is a big plus. i like that it has a fuel shut-off feature; it helps conserve fuel and keeps the engine in good shape. on the downside, it’s not super powerful, so for bigger tools or appliances, I might need something larger. overall, it’s a nice, portable option for lighter use. ... show more

  • Value, power, reliability.
Style: 3600W
I run a business with vehicles that use large, very expensive generators. Ive bought dozens over the past few years. Recently one of my diesel generators went down. I purchased this unit as a temporary assist while repairs were performed. It was expected to provide half the power needed, but enough as we use breakers to turn on and off equipment t as needed. This little unit out performed much larger, heavier products. It can be carried off the vehicle to use, runs flawlessly and always starts easily. It's quiet, and has a 30amp port, which is unheard of on a compact. All for a fraction of what I've paid for my other back up units and half the size. I'm looking at joining a second unit to permanently replace my $14,000 unit that constantly breaks. I cannot endorse this unit enough. ... show more

  • Hurricane Beryl - Powered all the essentials during
Style: 3600W
I got this right before Hurricane Beryl. I started using this generator Monday afternoon as soon as the eye pasted Brazoria. As of this writing I am on day 3. This little unit is powering the following at the same time. Swamp fan, small window AC, Freezer, refrigerator, TV, Laptop and 4 smart phones and a LED lightbar at 50% load. This little beast allowed me to work remote while the grid is down. I am extremely happy that it kept my family of 5 comfortable during these difficult times. I bought this with the intention of bugging out if there's a mandatory evacuation order, it's small and weight less than 50lbs. With the 1.5 gallon tank I was able to get a good solid 5 hrs of run time with ECO MODE before the red light fuel lit up. I highly suggest this unit I can't be any happier at the moment. It's not that loud at all, I left it outside and my window kinda muffled it. I think the quality is excellent, performance is excellent as well it's ease of use. ... show more
