I was looking for an L-shaped desk to set up for gaming. This desk was actually my second choice; when the first failed to arrive, I ended up ordering this one instead - and I love it! Saved a lot of money and got a nice setup out of it. Shipping-wise, the box arrived and was pretty trashed. The pieces of the desk were mostly untouched, however, except a couple nicks/scuffs on the edges (pictured) that I don’t really care about and are easily covered up by desk accessories (clip-on headset holder, cup holder, etc). The desk is great value for the price, provided yours arrives unscathed or you don’t care about a couple nicks in the furniture. It just arrived today, took me 2.5 or so hours to assemble by myself, which was very doable. The instructions looked weird at first but they ended up making sense as I went through the process of putting it together. Holes all aligned well, wasn’t missing any pieces or screws. I love the color (got the Teak model) and the shape/height of the desk is perfect for me. The shelving on the side is an awesome accent and very stable. I had enough space on the desk itself for plenty of my PC-related knickknacks (printer, iPad, etc) to fit and still have space for whatever I’m working on at the time. My computer tower is on the larger side but still fit on the stand because the feet raise it above the weird legs on the stand (pictures). It was nice that it was included - makes me feel better about my PC’s airflow in a carpeted room. Desk feels sturdier than expected, but I can’t help being concerned that the frame would bend if I were to try to move the desk by myself. Maybe if I got sliders for the feet...? Though I just got this, I would totally recommend it. I’ll probably update this a couple weeks in if I have any further feedback but I think the basics are covered. Isn’t it pretty? 😄 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I can’t say enough about my desk. I LOVE IT! I looks great.. It was easy to assemble. I put it together myself using my boyfriend’s power drill (halfway through) made it go by so much quicker. It’s nice and sturdy with lots of leg room.

    • Well-made piece of furniture!!!

Was skeptical because of the price but this is a WELL MADE piece of furniture. The packing is brilliant. Both of my boxes came trashed and I was quite worried but the packing inside was unscathed. The wood is heavy. The desk is heavy. Mine (I put two in reverse long side to long side) are on carpet and still solid. Easy to assemble. I did both myself. Once the frame is done and you have the tops laid out on them, start from the corner piece and work your way out. lay underneath and put your screws in by hand and twist only one time. Once all your screws are in place then go back to the corner and start tightening them. This is the best way to ensure the top fits perfectly. As you build out each frame in the beginning, do the same thing. Get the screws in and then tighten at each phase. When it is complete, either lift the entire desk from underneath on the sides of the corner (tuff...its heavy) or have someone help you lift this into place where you want it. Do not drag or push on carpet. Love the pre-drilled hole for the monitor. For the first time ever I hung my monitors and recaptured all that desk space. Looks: Beautiful and we'll structured. The top is not perfectly smooth but fine to write with one sheet under your paper....the texture is very very very fine...not like a raw wood table. My dining table barely has a flat spot for a wine glass....the top on this is ever-so-slightly textured....hardly at all but enough to make the desk really beautiful. I would recommend this desk to anyone. Zero complaints. ... show more

The instructions are not exactly the easiest to read...there were parts that were not marked with a sticker making finding them difficult. Some of the holes in the "wood" pieces did not line up so I had to move things around so the screws could fit. The biggest disappointment is the computer stand which is nothing more than a piece of "wood" with 4 coasters you attach to it, honestly i thought it was on rollers/wheels. The end result is it looks nice, seems fairly sturdy (adjustable feet are nice for adjusting to uneven floor). Make sure to lay everything out and really watch what pieces go where and HOW they go! ... show more
