Bought this for a six year old boy with autism. He really enjoys it and can be rough on furniture, but it has survived him unscathed. It has definitely helped him with self-soothing, and has replaced some of his stimming. Combine it with a weighted blanket, and he is golden.

My youngest has serious anxiety, and she loves being in small spaces. We call this her “calm-down canoe”, and it’s her go-to when she’s dysregulated or overwhelmed. She loves that she can “hide” in it until she’s ready to talk about things. She also lines it with blankets and turns it into a comfy little nest to watch TV or even to sleep in. She’s 4’3”, and it works very well for her. We’ve had it for a couple months, and it’s consistently been her top choice to re-regulate. It’s been durable and has survived being dragged all over the house, with the handles making it easy to do that. If you have a sensory-seeking or anxious kid, I strongly recommend this!

My four year old special needs grandson has settled into this pod. His two year old sister also tries to snuggle into this soft touch canoe. Bottom does not have padding and does not inflate so we put a soft blanket on bottom for comfort. Shown is the 5 ft option

For the price it is decent. I appreciated that it came with a pump. The neck pillow seams are to hard to use. I've had to use a lot of trial and error to get it not to rock once inflated. Definitely for thin, small child

The media could not be loaded. The bottom and one of the sides need constant re-inflation. The air is seeping out slowly through the seams. We purchased two from this seller but the second order kept getting cancelled. We ended up purchasing a different brand from a different seller for a similar price and that one inflates fuller and doesn’t leak. Now our kids fight over the better chair.
