This ladder is a waste of money. It's unsteady i put water first still unstead then i put sand i am 250lb thats why i bought this ladder. Not safe at all dont waste ur money. Ladder directions were hard to understand i had to goggle a video to put the ladder together

Has wider steps so for adults will give you more confidence going into the water. On the down side try to get it sturdy is tricky! So far I have one sand bag with 40 pounds of sand helping keep it steady but I think I’m gonna add a second. The ladder starts to slide when your trying to get out or in to the side a bit, but the weight on the steps with the sand help a lot. I ... show more

    • NOT SAFE. NOT HEAVY DUTY. DO NOT BUY
1. the ladder does not take in sand or water to weigh the steps down very well. the steps float in the water. we had to drill holes in our ladder to hold it down in the pool. 2. very unsteady.. if anyone over 170 gets on the ladder it sways side to side. and it claims to hold 300 lbs. my 280 lb son climbed on and the ladder bowed in. the outsteps of the ladder lift to keep kids out of the pool.. but they do not lock in place. you will need to purchase a bike lock with a casing over the chain to protect it from rust. we took the ladder out of the pool 1 x to clean and the entire ladder fell apart. waiting on Blue Wave to refund my money.. amazon will not as it has been > a month since we purchased.. and we have rarely swam because of this ladder. had to purchase another one.. ... show more
