They angle of this Blink Corner Mount is PERFECT for mounting on a flat wall, with the intention of angling the camera to just catch one side of the wall and optimizing it's field of view. With other corner mounts that offer "more angle" you won't actually get any more coverage of a flat wall, rather, you will only get more coverage of the wall and less coverage of the activity in front of the wall. I'd go with THIS rather than the other corner mounts available that tout "more angle". (maybe those others are more useful in specific situations, but if you want to mount on a wall next to your door, and angle the camera to catch one side of the wall plus as much coverage as possible in front of the wall, then this one has the Best Angle.) As far as how sturdy this mount is, it's satisfactory, but certainly not "heavy duty". It comes with two tiny screws for mounting the Blink Doorbell into this. You still need the Blink Doorbell's two screws for mounting this into the wall (or mortar). Also, the Blink Doorbell doesn't snap into this, but sort of sits on top of it, allowing air and water to drain and vent through it. That's probably a plus as far as design feature, but doesn't seem as secure as something that snaps into place.

This wedge worked extremely well and it was easy to install with my blink doorbell. I have siding on the house and it was difficult to get the doorbell level. This wedge allowed me to level the doorbell. It wobbles a little bit with the actual doorbell, but we will check for durability. It is a good value for the money.

Have doorbell camera and 3 outdoor cameras we’ve struggled with for a year and a half. When they work they’re great, but the constantly going offline then having to troubleshoot is a real pain. Hard wiring to power doesn’t solve the problems. Customer support is meh. Teoubleshooting involves going outside (and/or taking the doorbell off its mount) to remove batteries for 30 seconds or replace them, cycling the modem, changing WiFi channels …it goes on and on. The app doesn’t know or keep up with the serial number INSIDE each camera, so better note that or take a pic before it’s up in the eaves or wherever you’re putting it - because you’ll need it for customer service or reinstalling after deletion from the system. Deleting is a “last resort” but often the only one that works. Spend the money on a system that doesn’t need constant in-person coddling.

I bought this angled mount for my blink doorbell camera. The mount does it's just but am a little disappointed with the fact that is doesn't mount completely flush with the doorbell (that could either be a fault with the blink doorbell camera or the mount's design itself. Also, the hardware/screws that came with it weren't the best. One of the Phillip screws heads broke and came off the threads, leaving the screw permanently stuck in the mounting bracket. Removing this screw would damage the bracket, so I decided to just leave it. I found the best wait to seal the gap between the camera and mount was to use the caulk that I had on-hand. For the average consumer I would definitely recommend going the 3rd-party route and just saving a bit of time and money by investing in a quality mount, because you definitely wouldn't want this thing coming off!
