Cameras are great, Video Doorbell is terrible and they know it. A large amount of the Doorbells are bad and constantly disconnect from network. They make you jump through hoops and then do nothing about it. My guess is that there are so many bad ones that they don't have enough to replace them. Old doorbell/cam words great.

Do not buy, batteries die fast, stops recording or does not record when you want it to. Very slow to load to watch live. I purchased the original and just purchased the 2k. I returned the original hoping the 2k would perform better. Pay the extra money. Ring

The system is relatively easy to set up, but I ran into issues getting the cameras to connect to the sync module. One camera in particular would not connect at all. I spent about two hours on the phone with tech support troubleshooting, but we couldn’t resolve the issue. I was told the camera would be replaced, yet after three weeks I hadn’t heard anything. It took multiple follow-ups, three emails and about a month total, before I finally received confirmation that a replacement would be shipped. To their credit, once processed, the replacement camera was sent overnight, which I appreciated. The camera image quality is good, though not outstanding. I also purchased a video doorbell, but was surprised to learn Blink does not offer a wireless indoor chime option. The workaround is to use a mini camera as a chime, which meant an additional purchase just to get indoor sound notifications when someone is at the door. After the 30-day free trial of the Plus AI plan ended, I attempted to subscribe to the standard Plus plan instead, since I didn’t feel the AI features justified the higher price $19.99/month (14.99 for the first year) vs. $11.99/month. Unfortunately, I ran into another issue: they don’t accept American Express, which is the only card I use. There’s also no PayPal or Apple Pay option, leaving me unable to subscribe at all. On top of that, the subscription process itself is frustrating. To Blinks credit you get two free months if you pay for a yearly plan upfront vs. month to month. However, you can’t purchase a yearly plan without enabling auto-renewal. You’re forced to check the auto-renew box just to proceed, which is unnecessarily restrictive. Overall, while the Blink system works and the setup is straightforward; however, the connectivity issues, lack of accessories, and especially the poor subscription and payment experience made this a very frustrating experience.

Blink module was bad. Talked to customer support 7 days ago. They said I would get email when replacement module was shipped. Have not heard anything back and no response from email request.
