Bought the brown, queen size. It’s so incredibly soft, lush and rich looking. I immediately washed it right out of the bag and there was zero shedding. It definitely is a dark chocolate color; deeper and shinier than the photo. Tried taking a pic but it’s not doing it justice for some reason. It’s lightweight but still very warm. I purchased black and charcoal from another brand and they’re the same weight but this one just seems like it’s better quality. I’m a fan of these velvet blankets cause I get hot fast but I want to snuggle and get warm too. I am so happy with my purchase that I’m getting another color right now. Definitely worth the price.

Alright folks, these blankets are the best find I have bought from amz in a long time! If you are expecting a 3 inch thick heavy weighted blanket, this is not the one. This gem is fluffy, extra soft and feels great on each side! It is super quality, washed perfectly with no bleeding of colors or snags! I can't believe this is such a great deal on such an excellent blanket! I always change my bedding btw summer and winter seasons so got this blanket to layer under our bed spread. This blanket will keep you super cozy while not being at all too heavy or bulky! I am a very hot sleeper, but this perfectly weighted blanket is absolutely perfect! It hangs nicely on our queen bed and does not slip out of place (which is a miracle considering I flop around all night like a fish out of water! I am back to buy one for each bed in our house, and 4 for our vacation rental as well! I am also getting about 4 different color throw blankets for all couches and donating all of my current ones! Can't say enough about this blanket, do not hesitate to buy, you will love it! 100% recommend!! Trying to figure out where I can put more!! :) Oh yeah, when leaving reviews, please say more than "nice, sent back, gave as a gift etc." Every description helps! :) Update: I just got the emerald green throw and it is as beautiful and soft as the wine colored ones! Like the sheets, rug, decorative pillows, mattress, bedspread and the bed, this room was entirely sourced on a budget with this fluffy, cozy blanket – from Amazon. Our little vacation rental needed a makeover while the local rental laws were changing, so the budget was pretty strict. On the day the room was finished we got papers demanding a halt to all rentals...so I'm thrilled we found decent quality on a budget. All that said, the family that has used it loves it. It's great for colder nights. Super cozy. Silky feeling. And very easy care. It comes out of the wash looking new. It falls a little short on the sides for a king, but it works. I bought a few of these. This one stays at the foot of the bed and it is pretty enough to be an accent.

This blanket is super soft. I can’t express how soft it is, it’s that soft! It feels like it was made very well. The quality is very good. Is nice and big too. Whenever I get cold, I wrap this baby around me and instantly, I warm up. It’s thick, but not bulky thick. I think the price is good too. I would get this again, and I would recommend it.

Very soft and durable blanket! The only thing I would mention is that it begins shedding like crazy after being put through the wash a few times. There have been many times where cotton flecks from the blanket have gotten caught on my clothes. There are generally so many of them that I need a lint roller to remove them instead of removing them by hand. Just be aware that the blanket may shed over time, but otherwise, it's a good choice if you're looking for a soft, light, cheaper alternative to a more popular name brand item.
