A very thin material, but actually keeps me warm. It doesn't take much and it glows very well. The glow lasts for a while, also. It is soft on the outside, not as soft on the inside. It would work well to use for coverage when napping, or cuddling on the couch.

Love the blankets but they do not glow in the dark!! I bought 6 of them and none glow in the dark. I gave a 3 star because they are so so soft and lovely. We did look forward to the glow. That was disappointing.
