Nice warm blanket, very soft, heats quickly. Setting 1 or 2 is plenty warm. We have washed it a few times in a front load set and it comes out clean and working every time. We received one as a gift and bought two more because it has a great feel and weight to it.

The media could not be loaded. I paid $33.59 for this item on 10/23/23 and I’ve since increased my initial rating from 4 to 5 stars. Quick review ratings Quality: 4.5 out of 5 stars Effectiveness: 4.9 Value: 5.0 Satisfaction: 4.9 Short review highlights: I like how this blanket came tightly sealed in an airtight vacuum-packed clear plastic bag, assuring product integrity of first use from the factory. I like how this blanket is very soft and plush and feels really nice to the touch. I like how it’s constructed to be warm and is warm just as a regular blanket without any power at all. I like how the controls are simple/effective and how the 3hr default timer is set intuitive for most use I like how the highest heat setting seems sufficient even when really cold, and that it heats up fast helping to better thaw out my feet that can get cold as ice. I like how being a shorter throw model doesn’t take away from it’s effectiveness and that its smaller size even helps make it easier to manage. I like how upon ordering that the manufacturer emailed me guidelines for safe use/operation I like how other than the big plastic sticker they put on it that there’s very little that I don’t like. Long review details Although this blanket is very soft and plush, it’s thin enough that you can still easily mold it to follow your shape. But with it’s construction being on the thin side, you are reminded that it is indeed an electric blanket because you can feel the heating cables within it's build which start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches inward from the outer most edge/border, but I haven’t found the feel of them to be at all off-putting either. I didn’t like that some spots seemed to heat up more than others but over all that’s also pretty minor and that most importantly it does warm up quickly. I also didn’t like that the handheld controller itself tends to heat up a bit when on the higher settings adding some worry to its safety but I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had issues otherwise; and, I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. For more precaution I initially got in the habit of hanging my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out and be cool" and that does seem to help it dissipate heat better; but I also often use it while on the couch with the controller right on top of me or with it sometimes ending up off to the side or even under me, but still haven’t had any issues. This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller in terms of size management because while I'm also using other regular blankets with this (only when its really cold, and when I might lay one blanket on top of this one to better hold the heat in) on my lower half to add more heat where it’s needed most for my legs and especially my feet that can often get cold as ice, and this really helps with that. I do often use it on the couch but either way I always use it with a flannel sheet which not only works well for adding extra warmth but better helps to distribute the heat and has also been very effective in keeping it cleaner longer and so effective that I haven't had to wash it yet. This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality in comparison to models more expensive, but despite that its issues have been minor, and it’s been working really well for me over what's been now its second cold season or second year and it’s still keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but again, it's going into its second year of daily use (when it’s cold), and I can recommend it with a full five stars.

One of the softest blankets out there. We just love it. It is so soft that the even sleeping over it (like a mattress pad) is comfortable. Good heat that does not burn the skin. Lovely beige color. Cord is long enough to pass under the bed and back up towards the headboard. I’ll update the review after the first wash.

This blanket really heats. It feels like I am laying on a rock that was just in the az sun! Even on low! Minnesota winters can be a little rough but not with this baby! Works great! I order's a king and it fully covers the bed with extra on the sides!

I have Raynaud's syndrome. My capillaries in the winter time construction when it's cold. I suffer more when laying in bed trying to get warm. I gifted myself this for Christmas. I'm sooo glad I did! It's heats up amazingly warm! I have a full size bed, but ordered the queen size just in case the sides were to short, but only have 1 side plugged in. Upon receiving I put it into the dryer on low to puff it up. I love that setting hub too. You set the heat level and can adjust the timer on how long you want it on. Each night I set it on PreHeat for about 20 minutes before I go to bed, then just before I do I turn it to Level 3 for 1 hour. I live in New England and it's been a freezing cold winter, and this has helped me so much. It's toasty warm and my poor condition just melts away after about 15 minutes. As for some complaints I read about before ordering; I cannot feel the wires with my feet or any other body part. I do have a flannel sheet in between me and this blanket though. I LOVE the sherpa side face down, but that means the velvet side is on top and that does make my top comforter slip downward a bit. I'm a sound sleeper and normally my blankets don't move much, so this blanket does make the comforter shift down about 3-4 inches. No biggie for me. I saved the bag it came in to store after winter. I've had this almost 2 months and love it! No issues at all.
