I paid $33.59 for this item on 10/23/23 and I’ve since increased my initial rating from 4 to 5 stars. Quick review ratings Quality: 4.5 out of 5 stars Effectiveness: 4.9 Value: 5.0 Satisfaction: 4.9 Short review highlights: I like how this blanket came tightly sealed in an airtight vacuum-packed clear plastic bag, assuring product integrity of first use from the factory. I like how this blanket is very soft and plush and feels really nice to the touch. I like how it’s constructed to be warm and is warm just as a regular blanket without any power at all. I like how the controls are simple/effective and how the 3hr default timer is set intuitive for most use I like how the highest heat setting seems sufficient even when really cold, and that it heats up fast helping to better thaw out my feet that can get cold as ice. I like how being a shorter throw model doesn’t take away from it’s effectiveness and that its smaller size even helps make it easier to manage. I like how upon ordering that the manufacturer emailed me guidelines for safe use/operation I like how other than the big plastic sticker they put on it that there’s very little that I don’t like. Long review details Although this blanket is very soft and plush, it’s thin enough that you can still easily mold it to follow your shape. But with it’s construction being on the thin side, you are reminded that it is indeed an electric blanket because you can feel the heating cables within it's build which start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches inward from the outer most edge/border, but I haven’t found the feel of them to be at all off-putting either. I didn’t like that some spots seemed to heat up more than others but over all that’s also pretty minor and that most importantly it does warm up quickly. I also didn’t like that the handheld controller itself tends to heat up a bit when on the higher settings adding some worry to its safety but I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had issues otherwise; and, I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. For more precaution I initially got in the habit of hanging my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out and be cool" and that does seem to help it dissipate heat better; but I also often use it while on the couch with the controller right on top of me or with it sometimes ending up off to the side or even under me, but still haven’t had any issues. This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller in terms of size management because while I'm also using other regular blankets with this (only when its really cold, and when I might lay one blanket on top of this one to better hold the heat in) on my lower half to add more heat where it’s needed most for my legs and especially my feet that can often get cold as ice, and this really helps with that. I do often use it on the couch but either way I always use it with a flannel sheet which not only works well for adding extra warmth but better helps to distribute the heat and has also been very effective in keeping it cleaner longer and so effective that I haven't had to wash it yet. This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality in comparison to models more expensive, but despite that its issues have been minor, and it’s been working really well for me over what's been now its second cold season or second year and it’s still keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but again, it's going into its second year of daily use (when it’s cold), and I can recommend it with a full five stars. ... show more

This blanket is amazing.. it has several heat settings and really heats fast. You can control how long it stays on. I set it for 2 hours on #2 and even when I am freezing when I go to bed, I am toasty warm in less than a minute!

So I caved in and ordered this right before the big snowstorm that passed through, and let me tell you, this is probably the best purchase I've made in a while. I don't even need to turn up the temperature on it or adjust the timing - by default, I let it run on the lowest power setting, and after 8 hours it shuts off. I simply lay it on top of all my other covers and it helps keep the heat in. The blanket itself is soft, light, and machine washable too. I have a queen-sized bed, so originally I was going to get a queen sized blanket, but opted for a twin size blanket instead. Really I just needed something to lay over the top of my bedding, and not actually tuck into the bed itself. It's wide enough to cover the bed itself, and more than long enough to drape down the foot of the bed. I'm glad I went a size down; a queen-sized blanket would have been overkill for me. After a previous heated blanket that I had stopped working for me, I began the search for a replacement. After reading the reviews on this particular blanket, I decided to pull the proverbial trigger on this one. And I have not regretted it ever since. This blanket can get pretty hot, that is if that is your cup of tea. For myself, I did not turn the heat past level 3 & that was perfect for my needs. Plus the blanket itself is oh so soft. I feel like a little kid when getting under this blanket. It is a joy to drift off to la la land in this product. Extremely plush material and soft to the touch. I bought the Bedsure Heated Blanket Throw 50x60 Grey as a gift for a coworker and they really liked it. The blanket is very soft flannel with a cozy feel and a little puffiness. It’s not extremely thick but still warm and comfortable. The 50” x 60” size works well as a throw for the couch or while sitting at a desk. It plugs into a wall outlet and has a controller on the cord to adjust the settings. The cord is fairly long (around 9 feet), which makes it easy to use on a couch or chair without needing to sit right next to an outlet. It heats up quickly and has multiple heat and timer settings, so it’s easy to adjust the warmth. The grey color looks simple and nice, and it’s also machine washable, which makes it easy to maintain. The only small downside is that it’s a throw size, so it’s best for lap or upper-body warmth rather than full coverage. Really like this electric blanket. It gets very warm and heats up quickly. Ordered full size because I wanted only one temp/hour wand. Easy to set timer and heat settings. Spent a great deal of time researching blankets. My previous blanket was good but the wand's covers broke for some reason meaning the push button wand lost its outer covering so 3 buttons on the wand were exposed. This happened after one year. When I went to put it on my bed this year, I noticed the wand's covering was damaged. Don't know who this happened since I simply returned it to the original package for use the following year. The power cord and wand controller each had sufficiently long cords so I could keep the control wand on the night stand. ... show more

Received today in mid August. Plugged each one up and it heated, all controls worked correctly but did not check preheat. The fabric feels like a fluffy stuffed animal toy and would make a great blanket even without being plugged up. I was expecting them to have knots like the electric blankets of 1970 but these have thin flexible wires. I really like them. Bought them as a layer of a cold weather emergency heat plan for either a heat pump failure or operating on limited generator power.
