Soft, fluffy, perfect to snuggle up under if you are chilly. This blanket does not fall short in any way, it is exactly the perfect furry goodness for warmth, comfort and style. I have several, and gifted my dad with one. He loves his too. There is very little shedding, no smell to them, quality is high, they stand up to a TON of use. I do spot clean when needed, rather then a full wash, I try to limit full washing until it is really needed... Keep it cold, gentle and hang dry. A short tumble on cool or air dry helps fluff it back up. Honestly at these prices, once I feel it's losing it's "awesomeness", I just buy a new one and pass the current on to one of the kids. They are always happily received. A side note, if you have a loved one dealing with medical issues, especially going through chemo... They tend to get the chills much easier then the rest of us. This blanket is a cozy, warming comfort they can bring with them, just be sure to get a smaller throw size. It is a beloved gift! This is probably one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. I have washed it at least 10 times so far and it still looks the same as when I bought it. It is so soft and snuggly I love it so much. The color is beautiful the furry side is soft and the bottom side has Sherpa on it which is also soft. It's not super heavy and it keeps me warm and it fits my king size bed perfectly. It is such a good value for the money and the quality of it is amazing do yourself a favor and purchase this you will get the best Sleep Quality of your life I swear. I wish I would have had this years ago I don't know what took me so long to find it I have bought several blankets and ended up throwing them away because I did not like the way they felt. The only reason why it hasn't received five stars is because I ordered the twin size thinking it would give me good coverage (and I didn't want to order a bigger size), but it's just an inch or two too small for my body. Bought this blanket for a friend back in October of 2024 as a birthday gift. Got her the burgundy color and she loves it. Began snuggling into it right away. The material really is super soft to the touch on both sides and the blanket has a nice, medium weight to it. Not real lightweight but not heavy either - somewhat in the middle. It isn't super thick, like a comforter thickness but is of a expected thickness for a throw. The sherpa material provides a nice warmth. She loved this blanket so much, I decided to purchase another for a different friend in the burnt orange color. Again, that blanket arrived feeling just as soft, and again, the color is really pretty. I am positive this recipient will also like it just as much because she is another friend that is always snuggling up into the corner of her couch, burying herself under a blanket while watching TV. Both times I have ordered these blankets, they came wrapped up tight in the boxes (as shown) and both times, the boxes have been a little banged up, as shown in the above photo. For me personally, this isn't a big deal because I take them out of the packaging anyways so I can check them over for any flaws and damage but also to let them air out a bit before I wrap them up in a blanket gift box. Not that they need to be aired out (because I have never noticed a strong odor) but mostly to let them fluff up a bit and so I can fold them neatly for better presentation as a gift.
