Purchased for my 11 new chicks and they all fit perfectly on it. As we were screwing in one of the pegs, the frame cracked slightly but it does not seem to affect the functionality. I was really looking forward to receiving this for my baby chicks. As I was starting to assemble the first one I received, the wood cracked along the grain that ran through a pre-drilled hole. I didn’t even get it half way screwed in. I returned it and requested a second one to replace the first defective one. I received the second one quickly and started to build it shortly after arrival. An entire section broke off as I was screwing in a screw. From one hole/wood grain to another, a two inch section cleanly cracked into my hands. This is a really cheap material and I’m really disappointed. I’ve owned others similar to this, and this is just junk. ... show more

The product is small and will only handle 3-4 week old chicks. Chicks will outgrow fast. Not really worth it. It is stable and easy to assemble. Would not purchase again
