  • Good price for a nice tool
Style: Jack
I like the fact that this is a well-made tool. The wheels under the loaded end are a relatively large diameter and wide enough to support the rated load on the work surface. The "automatic" two-speed function is also very nice. The lift moves to load contact with just a couple of pumps and then "shifts" to a slower speed for lifting the load while maintaining a relatively low effort input. Also, I like the cushion around the lower end of the lift handle that reduces the chance of damage to the vehicle from the handle returning to the vertical orientation when released. ... show more

  • Jack It Up, Get It Done, Smooth Release
Style: Jack
I’ve been using the Blackhawk B6350 Fast Lift Service Jack in my home garage for a while now, and it’s become one of my go-to tools. It’s solidly built, lifts smoothly, and feels very stable even when working under heavier vehicles. The 3.5-ton capacity gives me plenty of confidence when lifting my truck or SUV for tire changes and quick maintenance checks. Setup was simple right out of the box. The fast-lift feature works great — just a few pumps and the car is up. I like that it’s easy to position and the handle movement feels sturdy, not flimsy like some cheaper jacks I’ve owned. The red and black design even matches the rest of my tools, which is a nice touch. For around $210, I think it’s a great value. It performs like higher-end jacks that cost more, raises good height and the fit and quality feels professional enough for someone who does their own work at home. If you’re looking for something dependable and easy to use, this jack is worth it. ... show more

  • wow, well-built and heavy duty jack, amazon prime delivered it without a scratch on the box
Style: Jack
First, if you buy this jack, remember to follow the instructions and check if more hydraulic fluid needs to be added. The phillps screw to check the fluid is under the pop-off red plate that is on top of the jack by the handle. My jack required at least 3 ounces of fluid. If you do not have hydraulic fluid, when you buy this jack also purchase a small container of it. The instructions say to do a jack fluid check that can result in you having to add fluid. I also purchased "Liquid Wrench M3312 Hydraulic Jack Oil - 12 fl. oz" so that I did not have to store a larger 30+ fl oz container that I likely will never need anytime soon. There is nothing that feels cheap about this jack. Nice steel wheels in the front. Everything is sturdy. The rubber disk on top of the jack life did not scratch when I used it twice to lift my car using a side mount point that I thought would damage the rubber disk. The handle is nice and sturdy. The foam on the handle is a nice touch. Equally amazing is that amazon prime delivered it to my home without even a scratch on the product box. They had two delivery people for the truck that delivered it, and it took two men to carry it to my door. That is how heavy this jack is. The only potential "con" in this review is that jack is so heavy that you have to be careful when you try to pick it up. It is like picking up a really heavy box where you keep saying I hope I do not hurt myself doing this. Be careful. Now only time will tell how well this jack will hold up, but it is off to a great start. I'll post an update if anything fails over the next 3 years. ... show more

  • ... had it a few days and it's working just fine. There are some important things
Style: Jack
I've only had it a few days and it's working just fine. There are some important things, however, that you should know, First, this jack is heavy. It's is not a problem if you're rolling it around on a garage floor or paved driveway. If you'll be picking it up and carrying it around this is probably not the jack for you. 85 pounds is a lot unless you're in great shape. Second, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, especially if you're not too familiar with floor jacks. Here are some tips: A. on the underside of the handle fork (the piece into which you slide the handle) there's a 9/16" bolt. That bolt is connected to a rod that I presume is to hold the handle fork in place during shipping. It must be removed carefully - the bolt, its lock washer and the rod will fly off when you release the tension. B. That same bolt holds the handle in place, without the rod, when you roll it around. Insert the handle into the handle fork and screw the bolt back in. It was a little short with the lock washer in place, so I discarded the washer. The bolt fits into a groove on the end of the handle and keeps it from pulling out. Note that the handle will store in the fully upright position when not in use. C. The handle is in two pieces, and is held together with two allen screws with lock washers. A 5/32 allen wrench fits them. D. The instructions tell you to expel any pressurized air before first use and verify the oil level. As part of this process you need to remove the oil filler plug. The instructions just say it's on top of the hydraulic reservoir. To find it you need to remove the small tray that's in front of the handle fork. The plug is rubber and painted the same red color as the jack. It looks like a round bump on the reservoir. Pry it up and off with your fingernail or a small flat blade screwdriver, and clean away any small paint chips - you don't want them in your oil Then follow the instructions. Reinserting the plug can be tricky. A small flat blade screwdriver will help. E. I measured the range. It's from 5-1/4" to 19-1/8". I hope this helps. ... show more

Style: Jack
Great jack. Its easy to use and doesn't require a lot of pumps to jack up a vehicle. The only thing I had figure out is how the handle attached to the base. There is a bolt on the bottom of the handle to screw down and keep the handle attached. Would highly recommended this jack. Its not cheap jack but its worth the price. Would highly recommended this hydraulic jack. ... show more

  • **Updated review** The Jack I received will not hold pressure unless you tighten handle real Hard.
Style: Jack
**Updated review**. I found that the customer service number listed on the Amazon page was for Canada Customer service. Once somebody finally answered the phone there, I was given the proper number for the USA customer service. The gentleman there was able to help me with my issue and sent out the required repair parts. After about a 20 minute repair, the jack is working great. I bought this jack to help my son work on his VW beetle. The jack right out of the box was real hard to tighten the handle and get the jack to hold pressure. I have owned a few of these jacks over the years and never had one this hard to use. I initially believed that is was just excessive paint on the end of the handle and this was causing the action of tightening the jack, and releasing the pressure to be from the excessive paint. I deburred the paint drips off both the end of the handle, and inside the end of the jack where the handle goes. This helped relieve the amount of force that the handle took to turn, but this jack still will not seal without extreme pressure. So basically the jack cannot over the downward pressure of the springs unless you grip it with 2 hands, and really crank on it. So once you crank on it and get the car in the air, you have no control of releasing the pressure slowly to lower the car in a controlled manor. You finally get the handle to "unscrew" and it is no far backed off that the car is going all the way down. I have tried to call customer service a few times, and have never actually got anybody on the phone. Unfortunately it was passed the Amazon Return time before I removed from the box, and drove to my son's house to work on his VW. ... show more

  • Overpowered and I love it.
Style: Jack
Bought this when it was on sale for 135. It's a bit too much for my personal use at home. That's my biggest sort of complaint for this is maybe a bit too much for home use but really in a good way. It's gets your vehicle up in the air fast. It's extremely sturdy and heavy. I question leaving it in my car for emergencys. For the sheer massive size a carrying handle would have been nice touch too an already excellent product. If you have limited space that could be a concern as well. I look forward to using this for years. For strictly home use this is about the best you can get. Maybe even professional mechanics might like it. If you're looking for something portable, easy to carry, and takes up little space to put in your car this might not be the best choice. If you want a really nice, fast, and high lifting for home use this is a definite winner. ... show more

  • Excellent jack, feels well made and does the job well
Style: Jack
Bought this jack to replace an older AC Delco one I had been using sparingly. This Blackhawk jack oozes quality, and the lift height is perfect for my 99 Sebring which rides really low on the ground, giving me 0 clearance for maintenance. Being able to lift my car high enough to get under comfortably has been a Godsend, and I don't have any worries about the jack giving out halfway through a life. As always PLEASE USE JACK STANDS after raising your vehicle. I haven't had any issues with the jack giving out during lifting, but it is not meant to hold a weight continuously. Lift your vehicle as high as you safely can, and then jack stand it for your own well being. Your livelihood is worth an extra minute of work! ... show more
