I have a 14 month old lab who has loads of energy and I need to be able to get a better grasp of him. So I purchased this , it is my first time buying a tactical caller so we’ll see how it goes and if it can hold up. Butttt so far I love the quality it’s thick and durable! Also the padding on the handle is great. I had concerns at first with the buckle, seeing that other reviews were running into safety issues of it popping off, so far I have not run into this issue and it seems to hold fairly well when he does decide to pull against it. My only other concern is that the buckle is quite large and could possibly hurt other dogs if they ever decide to do ruff play so I have to switch it out for a safer caller, this part kinda make me question keeping it because I needed the handle part at all times but again we’ll see how it goes! It’s the middle of may so I’ll probably update the review in a couple months if it’s hold up by then. ... show more

We have a 104 pound "lab-ish" who is very sweet and very strong. He recently learned to open our back gate, so when he makes his escape, we need to be able to stop him. Awesome collar made from what appears to be very durable material, i expect it will last a very long time. Stitching is immaculate and reinforced in the right places. Handle is firm and sturdy, youll let go before it would ever rip. Last but not least is the buckle, looks great and makes it a breeze to take collar on and off.     • Defective buckles
I wanted so badly to like these collars. They were everything I needed for my two shepherd husky mixes. They were comfortable, the handle was perfect, they were well-made, as far as stitching goes, and they looked great, my biggest complaint, and why they only get three stars, is that faulty buckles allowed for my dogs to escape not once, not twice, but three times. For no apparent reason, the collars randomly opened during critical moments. My female dog got out twice, despite being on a lead, and my male dog got out once. This is incredibly dangerous. If they could improve their buckles, I would buy them again in a heartbeat. ... show more
