Wetsuit quality can be judged by looking at the quality of the material, how good are the seams, and is the cut decent. Looking at the material it appears to be the claimed 2mm thickness and it exhibits very good stretch in all directions. The softness and stretch will make it conform nicely to the wearer. Sleeve pictures show the at-rest dimension and easily stretching around a pint paint can. Like all soft neoprene it would tend to compress if you wear it on a dive, losing some of its insulating quality. The sleeve openings are cut but not hemmed. I repeatedly stretched the sleeve opening as far as it would reasonably go for 100 cycles and did not observe any delamination of the fabric and neoprene so it should be durable (picture). The roll edge seal applied around the leg openings is skin neoprene to provide a decent seal and should reduce flushing in the wetsuit (pictures). The seams are tightly sewn and provide ample stretch along the seam. The seams are not the more expensive “glue and blind stitch” type found on more expensive (and usually thicker) suits but are appropriate for this price point and well done. The ends of seams are adequately managed to prevent them from beginning to come apart. The seam that reaches the sleeve opening is reinforced inside with tape (picture). The only seam to watch is the connection between the zipper and the neoprene. It looks like if the thread were to break the seam would quickly start to unravel. The cut appears true to size and the great stretch of the neoprene will accommodate a variety of shapes. The hip size is ample and the torso length is average. The neck opening is comfortable but does not provide a very good seal so flushing should be expected. If you don’t like being a walking billboard for the wetsuit brand this suit is a good choice. Pictures show the subtle logos on the front and rear near the neck. This wetsuit is competitive with others in its price range and if the cut fits you it should give years of satisfying service.

This is a long sleeve, shorty wetsuit. It is made of 2mm thick neoprene. It has a nice, smooth front zipper that goes about 3/4 of the way down the front. It has thumb holes to keep the sleeves in place. The leg openings are lined with a comfortable, rolled neoprene piping that keeps the leg openings snug to the leg. This slows the flow of water as well as keeps the leg openings closed. The stitching is mostly well done with very few less-than-perfect areas. The neoprene is fairly thin but of good quality. The sizing is true, and the wetsuit is form-fitting. I really like the color. The material flexes and moves with you. It isn't tight and restrictive anywhere. This wetsuit is ideal for warmer water and can even double as a swimsuit. It provides some buoyancy but not as much as a thicker wetsuit. If you desired to generate a bit of sweat during a workout, this would work for that as well. This is a good quality, nicely colored, light and thin wetsuit. It is comfortable to wear, and it doesn't restrict your movements.

This is the first wetsuit I've ever worn, so while I knew to expect a tight fit from reading about wetsuits, it was quite another thing to put one on. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 and usually wear size 6 clothing. So I ordered an 8 after reading the reviews and product info. But I fear I should have gotten one size larger, even though I know that you want a tight fit for warmth. I hope I can find a happy medium eventually. For me, the sleeves were too long and the neckline was very constricting. The cut at the bottom was too high, and there was little coverage in the back. I do like that there isn't a big logo on this suit. The seams look sturdy and the neoprene moves with my body. It's easy to get in with the front zipper; a bit of a struggle to get out, but again, I think the size I got is a smidge too small. Worth getting but measure yourself and go by the seller's size chart, not your own size.

I chose this wetsuit as I will be using it while traveling to a warm climate. The short design gives me increased flexibility and range of motion and the 2mm thickness will not overheat my core. The seams are tightly sewn and provide ample stretch. The zipper is solid and moves up and down without any hindrance. The suit fits nice and snug yet did not cause any chafing.

I sized up on my wetsuit and it was comfortable, not feeling too tight, but there was a section that wouldn't lie flat. That said, it is well-made and the leg holes have extra lining to create a better seal. Getting the wetsuit on was a bit tough, as it felt like the torso was shorter than it should be, but once it was on, it was comfortable and felt appropriately sized on the torso. Taking it off was a little more difficult but not impossible. It definitely takes a little wriggling. The color is great, however. Mine is a vibrant pinkish-purple.

A 2mm wetsuit is something of a cross between a swimsuit and a cold water wetsuit. This KMT shorty suit will be used when the weather warms just a bit for kayaking in mountain lakes. It's made a good first impression. It's attractive in color and style. More important, it fits just right, meaning it will be useful for kayaking and taking dips in cool but not freezing water.
