  • The very best
Color: Black 1 pack
I have purchased a lot of different collars over the last 6 years and this one by far is the very best. From the versatility of all of its features to its durability. Since buying this collar in 2022 I haven't needed to buy another. And it is still working in 2025. Every other collar hasn't lasted half this long. I did put a pocket clip on the back of the remote because a lanyard cord just doesn't work for me. There are a few things I wish that they would do which would make it the world's best electric collar, like 1. Put a good pocket clip on the remote. 2. make the collar so that the prongs can be removed without leaving bare metal posts that it screws onto so that I can completely remove the shock feature. This can be done by making the collar female and the prongs male and then supplying rubber inserts to make it waterproof. And. 3. Making the remote usable by touch alone. Giving different shapes, textures, and strategic locations to the various buttons. Because having 3 round buttons in a row and 2 buttons, 1 on either side, I can never remember which button does what? If they weren't all the same it would help. But now the good. Both the collar and remote use a common charger that we already use for our phones so no having to make sure I have their special cord everywhere I go. The shock, vibration, and beep are adjustable. Far too many collars just have 1 beep that would wake the dead. This collar has 8 different beeps from very loud down to something like a static sort of noise. I use the softest tone. The vibration is adjustable and you can really rattle your dog's head or just give a vibrating sensation. I use it at 4 or 5. And you can shock your dog into sense or just give a zap. I don't use that feature at all but I did put my finger across the prongs to test it. On high, it's a fairly good zap. It has a locking feature which is a must. The collar has a green light that blinks all the time and my favorite feature is that the collar has a light that I can turn on. I can turn on a constant white light or a light that is multi colored. I hike at night so it allows me to find my dog without having to yell where are you. The collar is made in such a way that it doesn't break And also so that the electrical piece sits on the side of the neck and not on the throat which is a nice future. I would imagine that if I had actually turned the collar off and turn the remote off when I wasn't using it then I might not ever have had to buy another collar ever? But I haven't and I just leave it on all the time. It's been such a long time since I've ever turned it off that I am not 100% certain about this but I think when I turned it on it would make it be a very loud audible beat and once it did that it was scoop my dog and she didn't want to call her on. I used to think that using the electric collar was inhumane but whatever I walk my dog she would pull my arm practically out of its socket. I had resorted to using a spike color which issue inhumane. But the electric color changed everything. She used to run away because she thought it was funny Today she doesn't run away and she doesn't pull. I can call her without saying a word. And when she is behaving poorly I can send her a vibration and she will stop. I mostly use the collar when we walk or go hiking at night, but when she thinks she can misbehave, I'll use it and she gets back in line I don't ever, and have never, used the shock feature. I just don't need it. But on some dogs it may be necessary and in short order you can have a well behaved dog. So, this is the best, the most versatile, the most feature packed, the most durable collar I have ever purchased and now I am planning on buying another just to have in case this one ever goes out. I forgot to mention that you can use this with two dogs and switch between channels. And to change the settings you have to press down on the antenna looking thing, then turn it like a dial, then press again to set it. Also, I believe the shock feature has a certain time limit of a few seconds and will shut itself off. When the lock is set only the light feature will work. All other buttons are off. This is the very best collar. ... show more

  • Excellent
Color: Black 1 pack
Excellent training collar! The remote is very easy to use, has a great range, and the battery lasts a long time. I really like that it offers different modes and levels, making it easy to adjust for my dog’s needs. The collar feels durable, fits well, and the flashlight feature is especially useful at night. So far, it has worked perfectly and I’m very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • ONE WEEK BEFORE IT QUIT!
Color: Orange 2 pack
So far I love this collar. I previously always used the tractor supply $99 "remote training collar". I worked well but i had to replace it 3 times. I tried a $160 one and it was crap. This 2 dog set up is almost identical to my old $99 collars in terms of settings. The shock is a little different. This new collar feels more like and electrical pulse vs an actual shock. I zapped myself on 11 with the old collar and it bit me pretty good. I used 3 on the new collar and it felt similar to touching a very low voltage electric fence. You know, the kind you can hold onto but it doesn't really hurt, it just feels weird? The only downsides to having one remote for 2 collars is you cannot correct both at the same time. You have to switch between 1 and 2 quickly. If they both chase after something, I have to decide which one is going to be the bigger problem. Which is always going to be the puppy. The 3year old has a pretty great recall and knows the boundary, luckily. Also when I take the one dog to work or out and leave the other home, obviously then the collar at home will not work. I kept one of my old collars for back up so we are never without. regardless of that- i bought it because I was sick of constantly having to carry around 2 remotes. I was always setting one down in the garden and walking away. Then when I needed it, I had the wrong one. I put on a longer lanyard so I can just hang this one around my neck and not have to worry about it. The lights are great too! The $160 one from Tractor Supply had ZERO lights! This new one has 2 options plus a flashing green light that is on when the collars are on. If you turn the light on it is either a nice bluish/white light, or you can choose have a flashing blue/red combo. If the light function is off, the green light will just flash intermittently to signal the unit is on. ... show more

  • Great training tool.
Color: Black 2 pack
I’ve been very impressed with these training collars. I use them on my Doberman Pinschers, and they’ve been a great tool for reinforcing training and keeping their attention when needed. The adjustable beep, vibration, and stimulation settings give me plenty of options depending on the situation. I also really like the flashing light for nighttime walks and the ability to control two dogs with one remote. The collars are easy to adjust, the remote is straightforward to use, and the range has been excellent for us. Overall, these have been a great addition to our training routine, and I would definitely recommend them to other Doberman owners. Five stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more

  • Good, but not water “proof”
Color: Black 2 pack
I bought the 2-collar system 1 year and 3 months ago. The thing I liked most was the amount of time it lasts between charges. Sometimes up to 4 weeks, if I take them off at night and power them down. I like the light feature. I can clearly see the dogs when they play outside at night. It’s also useful on walks so that other people and drivers easily see them. There are 4 tones with 2 chirp patterns for each. This is a good way to get their attention before vibration or shock. It also helps to be sure you’ve identified the correct dog. The vibration is usually enough to deter any unwanted activity and get their attention. The levels for shock go up to 99, but I’ve never had to go past 5. In fact, I tried lvl 2 on myself and could barely feel it, but it’s usually enough for both dogs. (They’re pit mixes, so the short hair makes it efficient.) I had a golden retriever before and she needed extra prongs for her radio fence system because the thick fur insulated her. Switching between dogs is not easy. The button doesn’t always switch despite being pushed all the way. It should be very easy to switch so that the wrong dog is not marked incorrectly for a behavior. The safety switch is good and bad. Sometimes it will slide unintentionally in my pocket and the button will give an accidental correction as I bend over to pick up after them. The display on the remote seems to be fading. My dog slipped into water from an embankment the other day and jumped right back out - maybe 10 seconds tops. Her head never went below water, so the collar depth was surface level. The collar stopped responding to the remote. It still turned on with a vibration, and the light blinks green. The remote shows the battery level. But there was no sound, vibrate, or shock when pressed. The flashlight feature also did not work. The rubber gasket was secure over the charging port. Neither dog has been submerged in water for any extent of time with their collars on before. I’m disappointed that the collars were advertised as waterproof, but water seems to affect the collar’s internal antennae. It started working angain after 2 days, but I live in Florida near the ocean and cannot afford to bring them to the beach if it’s going to short out their collars, even temporarily. ... show more

  • Great product
Color: Black 1 pack
This collar has worked fantastically for my dog. My dog is a medium breed and very energetic but after only a few shocks she has gotten to the point where she just hears the warning beep and she falls right in line. The range is great and it holds a charge for a very long time. The light function is also very useful to find my dog at night. My only issue is that the charging port corroded on the receiver and I was unable to charge it. I contacted nikketta explaining my problem and they promptly responded explains that though it is waterproof the port needs to be dried per manual instructions. That being said they sent me a new one to replace my old collar. ... show more

  • Lots of features but sometimes cumbersome
Color: Black 2 pack
UPDATE: I bought this collar in October of 2024. It is now May 2025. Collar 1 has stopped syncing with the remote. It still charges and the green light still flashes to show it is "online," but it will not respond when I press any button on the remote. There is a sync procedure that is shown in the instructions (you can download the PDF through the Amazon product page), but it only works for collar 2. Collar 1 is supposed to be automatically synced. Well, it isn't. It won't communicate, and the transmitter no longer shows the battery state for collar one. They're like a divorced couple who are forced to be in the same room together-- they refuse to acknowledge each others' existence. Unfortunately, that means that I have to walk my dogs in the park with only one working remote. It wouldn't be so bad if today wasn't Memorial Day. I expect the parks to be packed, and I hope that my older dog decides to listen to voice commands (he's selectively deaf when it suits him). I was never in love with the ergonomics of this remote, as I noted in my original review (below). You can't tell which collar you're commanding unless you look at the screen, and sometimes you can't even see the screen in bright sunlight. The buttons are a bit too easy to press accidentally, and the remote is twice the size of a Dogtra or even the cheap no-name that I had before this one (which didn't last any longer but at least had the courtesy to be $20 cheaper). I paid almost $60 for a collar system that lasted less than a year. Worse, it fails on one of the busiest park days of the year. I don't know what I'll be buying next, but it won't be one of these. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: I've used a couple of different e-collars for dogs, from the very expensive Dogtra to a $30 no-name generic collar. I'm still looking for the perfect one. This one is OK but a couple of things ALMOST make it a deal breaker for me. I have 2 dogs and I hike them off-leash in the woods. They sometimes have a habit of running off, often in different directions, so I needed a 2-collar combo with decent range and the ability to warn using both tones and vibration (I don't use the shock function unless it's close to an emergency). Things I like: -This collar has multiple beep and vibration modes that can be independently set for each collar. -The LCD display tells me how much battery life each collar has left. -There is a lock button that disables accidental input, preventing you from warning or shocking your dog if you throw the remote in your pocket, drop it, etc. -Each collar has a light that can has on/off/flash modes in case you're hiking in the dark Things I don't like: -Switching between the two collars requires a press of a button and then looking at the screen to make sure the correct collar is selected. You can't tell without looking which collar you've selected. My last collar had a 3-position switch. All the way left was collar 1, center position was off, all the way right was collar 2. This allowed you to choose collars without taking your eyes off the dogs and was much quicker. This is by far my main gripe about this collar. -Uses USB micro cables for charging. Most of the world has migrated over to USB-C, which is more convenient and, in my experience, far more durable. With my last collar, the USB charging ports came loose more than once, and I ended up resoldering them to the circuit boards a couple of times before they finally died for good. -LCD screen is not always visible in bright sunlight. -The beep/vibrate/shock buttons are on the face of the remote, which is good, but the collar select and flashlight buttons are on the sides and are very easy to accidentally press. About 1 out of every 5 times, I'll grab the remote and accidentally switch collars or turn on the flashlight. This, combined with the fact that I can't tell which collar is selected without looking, makes it cumbersome to use. -The remote is twice the size of any other that I've used. Not a big deal when using it but it doesn't always fit in a hip pocket very easily, which is where I like to keep it for most of my hikes. This is a good collar if you have a single dog or if you have 2 relatively sedate dogs and don't have to wrangle them in a hurry. If you have 2 furry torpedoes like I do, however, you'll find yourself using it only when you have lots of time to look at the remote, verify which collar is selected, etc. The rest of the time you'll find it too cumbersome to use, which is a shame because all of the other features make it a pretty nice collar. Dear manufacturer of this collar: If you're reading this, please add a tactile 3 position switch to this remote so that you can select between collars or lock the remote without looking at it. If you do this, you'll have a great bang-for-the-buck e-collar. ... show more

  • Great collar, better customer service!
Color: Black 2 pack
I have never reviewed a thing on Amazon, until now. First, the collar: we love it. It works perfectly for our black labs and has eliminated the need for an expensive in ground fencing system for us. Our stubborn dogs respond to just the tone (there are several tone options, which is nice), we’ve never had to use the static shock on them. We had sport dog collars prior to these and I’d choose these collars over sport dog any time. They’re incredibly easy to pair, set up, and use. We have kids that frequently have friends over and they’ve never needed an explanation on how to use these collars. I could go on… Second, customer service: I have NEVER encountered better customer service, which is also the reason that I decided to finally review a product. We did have an issue and one of the collars stopped working. I emailed support and received a response within the hour. The email was short and sweet, simply asking for verification on which piece of the system wasn’t working, and writhing minutes of answering that email, I received a response indicating that a replacement collar would be sent out and that I should receive it in three business days. I’m like wait? You don’t want me to sacrifice my first born? I don’t need to do sixteen backflips? I, in fact, did not have to do anything and my replacement collar came in two days. Super honest and easy to work with vendor. You can’t go wrong. ... show more
