So I am writing this because my dog and I were just outside with our cats and I am beyond proud of her. I can't even put it into words! I am a vet tech, I have also had dogs my whole life, and never once had to use any type of training collar. That being said my two year-old American Staffshire terrier /English bulldog mix ( I have had pitties my whole life) is extremely high drive high pray driven reactive dog. She already had her recall down unless she was distracted, and then she would take off . We have barn cats and she would chase them any chance she got? She is very dog reactive after being attacked by a small dog... now sll dogs = bad to her. We have only used the actual zap maybr 5x with rubber guards on and only at level six(my whole family tested it). She is able to be off leash on our property now, she was just standing next to our cat completely calm and relaxed! She is so much happier and able to be a dog again! It doesn't happen overnight but if you do it correctly, it is honestly life-changing for both you and your dog! It was not time consuming etc. The key is using it correctly and your dog already knowing commands! Now I rarely have to even beep her! If there is a wild animal and I vibrate her she will leave it ! The times i zapped was when she chased the cats in the house and she instantly stopped, had not chased since! This has honestly completely changed my dog and family's life! She had a temperament that takes a lot of work, I didn't think this would help and thought it would scare her. It had been incredible. Just please make sure u are using it correctly!

It 100% worked for my dog! Shes not a bad dog, but very hyper, playful, fast, curious. I’m sure some of the discipline issues are because of me, but who cares! Most of us aren’t professional trainers and we learn as we go. If I would leave the door or gate open, she’d instantly run out the door and down to the community pool. I put the collar on once, intentionally left the door open, she ran, zaaap. Done. And she was over it in 2 minutes. Next time I left the door open, she walked out and just went to the edge of the driveway. I pushed the noise button and she came back. We played fetch in a place where she’d typically run off at. Not anymore. She loved it. On walks, she gets excited w other dogs and people. She still does but doesn’t pull nearly as hard as before. Still excited though! Wish I would have bought it 6 months ago, instead of listening to the people that told me it’s wrong (the method and morals).

If you looking for a perfect, yet none hurting shock collar this one is perfect. It has a loud beep, small vibration, and medium shock levels. I used it for my puppy and it worked so well without hurting him. What a great purchase!

I haven’t tried it on my dog yet I just received it, I did try it on myself and needed to use it on level six to really get me to really feel it so it gives me a “oh my“ feeling. I have two new English mastiff puppies. They are now 12 weeks old and I feel I’m going to need this to help me train them. They are more excitable and hyper than my past English Mastiffs and that’s the reason why I got this. I’m sure in time as they get older, they will calm down, but I will have this on hand in case. The dog collar size with my 12 week old English mastiffs has about 6 inches leftover to use so I feel as though in probably in two months, they won’t even be able to fit into it. Right now they weigh 45 pounds for the size I just explained so I don’t believe 120 pound dog would benefit from this particular collar it’ll be too small for them. My othe concern is with the leftover part of the collar that just dangles, so I’m just gonna use. I don’t know I was gonna use duct tape to hold it on but if I do that it’s gonna wrap around the device itself I think something out, but they should make a velcro to put on it so it would velcro around the outside of it, which is a great idea and I think now that I thought of it, I’m going to do that because I do have velcro. I ordered two receive the pink one, but the gray one is going to come in two days, why that’s ridiculous. They should’ve sent them the same time being different colors makes me aggravated a fella. They also could’ve sent it in the same box at the same time, but there was an option for that and I’m wondering if they were two different sellers so I’m gonna go back and look at the ad on here. I will update on this when I start using this as soon as the snowstorm goes away for outside and as soon as they wake up from their naps right now lolol. I read a few reviews, one stating that the conductors on the back of it come loose Mom I’m hoping not that they will but I will definitely check that on a daily basis if I keep it on them for a longer period of time. I have a clear plastic thing I’m calling it a thing because I don’t know really what it is. I understand that it has the area where you put the conductor in it and you can tighten it on the device, but why is there a wire on the outside, going from one side to the other and up the middle of it what is the purpose of that looks like the inside of a lightbulb. What is the purpose of it? I will take a picture of it and place it in this review for those to see. I do like the feel of the controller in my hand. It’s smooth comfortable the buttons on the side of it for on off and arrow up and arrow down. I feel as there should be different colors like the face of it is it’s black with pink in the middle separation between each one otherwise you have to go with your gut feeling on which button you’re pressing and hope you’re getting the right one. I’m not thrilled over this thing that wraps around your dogs neck because the two conductors work even without it but we’ll see as they grow. This particular device will not work at all because the silver conductor that you put on the back of the device that goes around their neck is going to be too small if they get older, my thought on that is within a couple of months this will not even fit my dog so at 120 pound dog that it says it will go up to that will not work. I know my dogs when they’re 120 pounds and there’s no way that this would work I don’t know Unless it’s safe to go on the neck and it will automatically. I have a seven month old English mastiff thank you and he’s about 130 pounds. This does not work on him at all. It would not have worked on him when he was 120 pounds that’s for sure they need to change the description above that this will not work it would probably work maybe up to 90 pounds. My conclusion, they need to add a piece of Velcro inside the box, and fix the descriptions a little better.

Works really well after having for 2 years it finally broke. My dogs are super rough so the prong to it came apart. Other then that it works still and the controller still works. Its not too loud and my dog has started to listening to me. Has 3 different settings and only used the buzzing one.

I could not recommend this product enough! have a 6-7 year old beagle that I adopted from the shelter but just like a beagle they are not the best listeners when it comes to being outside. She used to have horrible listening skills but now she actually listens to me! I’ve never used the shock on her because the beeping alone gets her attention! If you’re looking for a training aid I highly recommend giving this device a try!

Worked great in the beginning, then after about a year it would randomly turn off, wouldn't hold a charge, and then wouldn't stay on. Were at almost a year and a half now and its completely done and im looking for a new one
