I have lots of B&D 20V tools and I had a big project coming up and got this just before Prime Days on sale. I checked to make sure it really was on sale with a history tracker. it was 15% off so I got it. I should have bought this years ago! WORKED great! I do advise you get a 5 ah or 7 ah battery. It does a great job with either of those two. The smaller battery is fine but like with the other tools, bigger batteries are better! I found it easy to use all around in every way. BUT MOST OF ALL, no cords and great stamina. I would replace one battery in the charger and about the time I had to get another the first one was charged. Very circular and orbital movement so the paper was fully used. I am buying one for my son, too, we both use B&D 20V. ... show more

Works great after you get it turned on. It has a soft rubber push switch and it is hard to get it pushed just right. Switch could be better designed. However, I would buy again. Batteries do not hold a long charge so I have 4 for a project so I don't run out of power. Still cheaper than the more expensive brand and works as good. In general I like this sander with one big caveat. It is light weight, has a comfortable grip and gets a moderate amount of sanding time per charge. 5-10 minutes I’d guess. It’s not impressive but lasts long enough to sand a dresser drawer with a few layers of paint. The filter doesn’t hold much dust, but it’s tiny and I should empty it more often. My real issue: the battery is really hard to get on and off. Like, I need to ask for help, especially when my hands are completely worn out by a project. The last thing I need is to wrestle with a battery that needs charging every 10 minutes. ... show more

Burns through battery in 10-15 minutes, but great for small projects. I love Black & Decker so have back up 20V B&D batteries that are compatible with other tools (limb saw, indoor vacuum, etc) as well.
