I have lots of B&D 20V tools and I had a big project coming up and got this just before Prime Days on sale. I checked to make sure it really was on sale with a history tracker. it was 15% off so I got it. I should have bought this years ago! WORKED great! I do advise you get a 5 ah or 7 ah battery. It does a great job with either of those two. The smaller battery is fine but like with the other tools, bigger batteries are better! I found it easy to use all around in every way. BUT MOST OF ALL, no cords and great stamina. I would replace one battery in the charger and about the time I had to get another the first one was charged. Very circular and orbital movement so the paper was fully used. I am buying one for my son, too, we both use B&D 20V. ... show more

Burns through battery in 10-15 minutes, but great for small projects. I love Black & Decker so have back up 20V B&D batteries that are compatible with other tools (limb saw, indoor vacuum, etc) as well.

Chews through bondo pretty well. I bought this to sand 3d prints for cosplay, and it seems to work great. I already have a B+D drill, so i have some extra batteries, but you WILL need more than 1 as it can go through a fully charged battery in 10 minuits. Otherwise I think this is a good value

Sander works great, especially for the price. Rating would be higher, but it has a few issues. The first is the filter bag. It got a hole in it in the first few weeks. The bag is pretty low to the sanding surface and because of that it catches on the wood. It started with a few snags and quickly got a hole. The second issue is that it drains batteries really quickly. Not that big of a problem if you have several backup batteries, but would be if you only have one. I haven't tried to find out if the batteries are just getting too got or if the battery is getting drained. It really doesn't matter because the outcome is the same. You have to change batteries every ten minutes or so. I'd recommend getting a larger battery or extra batteries. ... show more
