I love the natural way this goes on (easy to make brow like strokes) but it doesn’t last long, even with benefit brow 24 gel over. I’ve tried with and without the gel to get best result and seems to last longer with gel but not as long as I’d like. But the color is really natural so giving 4 stars.

Originally got this at Sephora then reordered through Amazon. I was always Leary about using a liquid brow pen but I gave it a try. I have to draw mine in completely so once I practiced a few times I got it. I also have an oily T Zone so other brow pencils would rub off when I started getting oily. This stuff stays all day!

Product is perfect for what I need it for. I’m sure the quality is fine I just feel like the physical looks of it (not the brush tip, that looks good and works) looks cheap. The product itself is also smaller (about 4.5 inches) than I thought it would be and for the price I didn’t like that. But it’s a famous brand so I get it but at least make it look the price.

I have thinning eyebrows with some bare spots, so I really need a good brow product. There is lots to love about this product. Excellent control, the ability to target very small specific spots, lots of color choice (more on that later). I use it every day as it’s the best product I’ve found. I’ve also tried both thicknesses of pencil from Anastasia, but prefer the pen because it only requires a light touch and allows me to be more precise. With that said, there are some issues with it. First of all, when new, a LOT of product is dispensed - way too much. For the first couple weeks of use, I literally don’t let the tip touch my skin. I have to just touch it to the hair on my eyebrows - even in bare spots there is tiny invisible skin hair, and that’s what I touch the tip to. It’s like skimming the tip just above my skin. And even then, I have to brush the product out bc it’s dark and harsh. After using it for a couple of week that excess product dissipates and I can touch my skin. It still ends up too dark and needs to be brushed out, but once I do that it’s great. It lasts all day and looks very natural. My only other complaint is that I wish there was a color between Taupe and Blond. I’m medium brunette, and blond is a little too light on me and Taupe is too dark. I can’t understand why there are so many color options that are all darker than Taupe (for those unfamiliar, Taupe is the second lightest color offered and Blond is the lightest). Obviously darker colors are needed, but it’s not like I’m blond or red haired - it’s crazy that a brunette would find that the second lightest color in the line is too dark. That’s why I have to always brush it out. I just wish I could just apply the product and have the color be right instead of having to brush it out, reapply if I accidentally removed too much, brush it again, etc. It’s a pain, especially because it can be hard to get the same amount of product on both brows and they can end up mismatched if I’m not careful. None of that would be an issue if there was an in between color.

I’m a huge fan of a “no makeup-makeup look,” and this brow pen does the trick! Filling in my brows has always been very tricky as I have a significant scar going through one of my brows that makes it difficult for them to look natural when filled in. This pen absolutely changed the game on that! I love that I’m able to create hair-like strokes wherever my brows are sparse (including my scar gap), creating a gorgeous natural brow. Since I am a dark blonde, the blonde pen does require some blending, but using a stiff spoolie after applying really does the trick. I recommend starting with a clear brow gel (I use Benefit’s 24 hour setting gel) to get your brows in place before filling them in, and then setting them with clear gel to keep them in place all day. I had makeup on for nearly 15 hours today and my brows did not budge at all. This is a miracle product!!

I have a four point system for rating brow products. The Anastasia rates very high. It has a wonderfully thin tip that makes drawing individual hairs very easy. The color is very natural. It lasts in hot weather and moderate exercise. It is not waterproof so it does break down while swimming, and I do martial arts and it is smudge resistant but not smudge proof and smears off when grappling. So as long as you aren’t swimming or participating in hand to hand combat this brow pen is excellent.

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Brow Pen I really wanted a light color brow pen/pencil for blondes but this is still a bit dark. I prefer a lighter, more natural color but apparently, is isn’t made, which is frustrating. I found that, after application, if I run a brow brush over it, the color appears a bit lighter, so I can live with that. My brows are naturally thin so I’m just trying to fill them in a bit. This would be perfect if you have light brown hair. This pen does stay on longer than a pencil. I have oily skin and most makeup lifts during the day. I would purchase again.
