I have had other first rate experiences with Black & Decker appliances, so I ordered this refrigerator despite the few negative ratings. In light of the negative ratings, I will say this. You could sell 16oz gold bars for $10.00 each and some idiots would give it a bad rating. My refrigerator arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and boxed. Not a mark or mar on it anywhere, just perfect. I read the instructions (which I rarely do), plugged it in, and viola!. It got quite cold in less than an hour. This unit comes with a cute, if somewhat useless, tiny ice tray, smurf sized. I filled it with water and put it in the ice box. I have ice! I like my beer cold, so I set the cold control on 5, where the instructions say to start on 4. Very cold beer. The unit is nearly silent, very quiet. I purchased this unit to put in my 5th wheel camper when we travel, as additional space due to the camper's small fridge. Until we go somewhere, I have put the baby fridge in my office, I just don't know, I might have to buy another for the 5th wheel. ... show more

I use this mini fridge to store drinks and my meal prep since they take up too much room. It’s the best though I like my beverages really cold so I like that i’m able to adjust it to my liking. i actually waited a few days to order this because so many reviews saying it arrived damaged or faulty in some way on set up, but when mine arrived it was in perfect condition, came with a couple extra little things that i actually don't even use, easy instructions... really nothing to complain about as far as functionality goes. the only thing i will say was annoying was the film covering the door on unpacking - it seriously took forever to get all that sticky film off, but once it was done, we started using it at the office that day. definitely worth it for us so far. ... show more

fridge came super fast. Brought right to my door instead of having to lug it from a store. Love the stage set up and the option to move shelves or remove shelves. The ice port is super strong as i have accidently broke the ice door trying to open it from being frozen. Nonetheless I can keep fruit, drinks and all sorts of other things in this fridge and not have to worry. The noise sometimes is noticeable but not always. But what do you expect from a fridge lol. This mini fridge has good size and depth to it. I love the section for the can beverages and for a 2liter drink. The shelf space is good, not great but I can store more things in it than I thought I would if that makes sense. It's not super loud which I love and it gets crazy cold. This fridge is very roomy and perfect for office space and holding a lot! I started out with the 1.7 size of the black and decker and loved it but it was time to upgrade. And I can say I am very pleased with my purchase.

Stopped working after just 9 months. At first, it cooled well, but then it started making strange noises and eventually stopped keeping things cold. Very disappointed. I expected it to last much longer. Would not recommend.

I am renting a room and have diabetes which means I have to watch what I eat. When I put my food into the kitchen's fridge items would "disappear." Now I have this in my bedroom and it eliminates that problem. Plus I don't have to walk to the kitchen to get something.
