The media could not be loaded. My hubs LOVES Sonic ice! He craves it! There are a few other restaurants and places that have it and when he finds a place, he always gets an extra cup to munch on it. I've been looking for years to find a counter top ice maker that produces it and for years I could only find the original standalone machine that costs thousands. When people started producing counter top versions, the reviews weren't great. Recently, after several years, I decided to revisited this quest. I found hope in the newer machines that looked like they were getting closer. After pouring over reviews and descriptions, I decided on finally buying him this one for Christmas this year. I'm happy to report: The cubes are the perfect size for crunching! He says it could be just a tad more "watery" (whatever that means -- it's ice -- isn't it naturally watery?? -- But I'm not as fanatical about rabbit poop ice as he is), but he says "it is pretty darn close" and he loves it!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The machine produced ice almost instantly. I was impressed by how fast it worked. It's footprint on the counter is about the size of a normal-sized coffee maker. Our knife block with the knives stands taller than this machine. So it doesn't take up much space as I thought it would. The water capacity is pretty decent: it makes about 2 tumblers full of ice -- or 1 32oz convenient store plastic cups -- we'll have to experiment with making extra to store in the freezer but so far hes eating them as fast as its making them 😆 The quality of the machine is mostly plastic but seems sturdy and good. The loudness is not more than the exhaust fan on the stove, but as mentioned it doesn't take long for ice to be produced, so the machine doesn't run long. Over all, this was a great buy!! 👍

I got the $169 one. Its great for what it is. It's a little loud when it barfs out the ice though. It looks good, a little big but good. The ice is small, soft and chewable. Melts sort of fast in a 16oz glass cup of coke. Not bad if you want something icy/watery. Clean it. The ice gets a strange taste if you don't. I used vinegar and water to clean it on self clean cycle then used distilled water to rinse it out. If the world ended, I'd find a way to make power and hook this thing up to it. Life would suck a little less with a cool drink *wink face thing I can't do the face keyboard nonsense*

Unfortunately I cannot speak to how it functions, as I never got the chance to use it. My issue was all about misrepresented measurements, the height in particular. I have a small counter space and needed it to fit under the cabinet. Measurement read 10.12” H so I measured not just once but several times and even asked my neighbor to double check measurement posted on website vs my actual space. I easily had enough space for 12.5”H. When I unpacked ice maker and placed it on the counter to my disappointment it was too tall! When I actually measured the ice maker it measured almost 13.0” H. I then measured the W and D only to find out none of the measurements were what was posted on website. As I said my only concern was the Height, otherwise even though not correct, the W and D would have still worked in my allotted space. It has been returned as of 12/20/24. Now my other concern is I am not comfortable trusting measurements posted. This item is not easy to handle as far as weight and size so not something I would want to unpack only to find out it has to be returned for some reason that should have never been an issue. I hope someone pays attention to this review and corrects the website very soon. I would have posted a video but did not think about even sending a review until it was already on its way back.

Product: I recently picked up the Silonn Nugget Ice Maker and I've been pretty impressed with it so far. The noise level is really manageable, which was a pleasant surprise because I've dealt with some noisy appliances in the past. It's quiet enough that it doesn't bother anyone in the house, even when we're all in the kitchen. The machine is quite efficient at making ice, and I haven’t had to fuss over it much—just use filtered water, and it runs smoothly with very little maintenance required. The nugget ice it produces is just the right size, not too big or too small, perfect for cooling drinks without diluting them too quickly. It's been especially great for making iced tea and other cold beverages on hot days. The size of the ice maker is also a good fit for my kitchen; it doesn’t take up much space but still produces a decent amount of ice. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It does exactly what I need without any hassle, and having quick access to nugget ice anytime has been a game changer for my daily routines. Amazon Customer Service: Working with Amazon is a nightmare. I was expecting this product on their expected 'Prime' delivery date only for it to get delayed 3 times before they ended up cancelling it. I had to contact Amazon support and, I swear, they literally say anything to get you off the chat as fast as possible. Making false promises of credit or refunds saying that it will hit your account in however many days. I honestly don't know why I pay for Prime anymore since my inbox is littered with emails about how they are sorry about the delay with no repercussions. It took 2 weeks to get this item on a Prime delivery. Terrible customer service.
