Modern French Door style full size fridge with bottom mount freezer drawer Bottom freezer compartment features two drawers to keep items easily accessible The ice maker up to produces 3.5 lbs. of ice per day. Comes with a power button and built-in sensor to automatically stop producing ice when the ice tray is full. Ice machine requires a water supply connection to a household cold water line. Standard 33” x 28” footprint dimensions allow easy transportation through standard 32” to 36” doorways. Doors and drawers can be removed to fit through smaller passages if needed. Note: Measure Space! Check for fit in intended space and through doorways, hallways, stairways in delivery path. Can it fit through standard doorways? Yes. With a footprint of 33” x 28” fully assembled, the refrigerator also allows the doors and drawers to be removed to fit through doorways from 32” to 36” W. Is it easy to adjust the temperature? Yes. This fridge has a digital control system to easily adjust temperature settings in both the fridge and freezers compartments. Can I level the fridge if the floor is uneven? Yes. The refrigerator has two leveling feet at the front of the unit. Simply adjust the feet if the floor is unlevel to maintain a secure, even surface. How can I clean the refrigerator? To clean the exterior surface, clean with a mild, non-acidic detergent to wipe down the surface and then rinse with clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth. What type of refrigerant does this use? This refrigerator uses R600a refrigerant that offers zero ozone depletion.

We LOVE this fridge/freezer so much, we bought two. My husband and I were struggling with how much we hated our old fridge/freezer setup. It was small, and had two vertical French-style doors. We couldn’t fit anything because of how small each side was. We were looking at new setups for months, and everything we liked was too big for the fridge space we have in our kitchen, and everything that was the right size was junk. My husband mentioned one day that we could get an industrial style fridge and a separate deep freeze in another area to maximize the space that we do have. I loved the idea, so I set out to find what would work for that. More months of searching, we found a different style single unit that could be set as either a fridge or freezer that we liked and were getting ready to buy, but at that time we were still planning out wedding and got busy and distracted. We had our wedding, and most of our friends and family bought us Amazon gift cards and cash as gifts, so we came to Amazon to buy the other setup, when this appeared on my homepage. It was on sale, and we got an extra discount with our Amazon wedding registry. Even without the regular discount, this one was almost 25% bigger and about $100 cheaper than the one we were looking at. I showed my husband, and we decided to pull the trigger. Delivery was fast and easy, they brought it into our kitchen on our preferred date. We got it in place and plugged in immediately. The temperature control is extremely easy, and within a few hours the fridge was at a crisp 32°. A week later, we bought a second one! Delivery and setup was easy, and again, within a few hours the fridge was at -9°. We’ve had them both for a few months now (we bought in April/May) and we are so happy with our purchases! There is so much space, we almost don’t know what to do with it all. Our wedding cake is rock solid, and I am confident that it will be perfectly preserved for our first anniversary. They are both incredibly quiet, and if you have little at home, you don’t have to worry about sticky finger smudges, as it hides them pretty well. Both units were delivered in perfect condition without any dents or damage, and has held up well with two adults, two dogs, and four cats, who all always seem to be in the kitchen. We are so happy with our purchase and our decision to have single until fridge and freezer spaces. Initially I was very skeptical about buying this refrigerator/freezer. I associated this brand with irons and blenders and smaller appliances. I read the reviews and decided to make a purchase. Item arrived damaged. Looks like it was dropped on its bottom corner before it was packed for shipping as the shipping box and materials were totally in tact. I contacted the company and they were zero help. Amazon made things right after 2 phone calls and a lot of aggravation. After 2 months, the refrigerator suddenly lost it's cooling ability and began to unfreeze. I contacted the company via their toll free number and they sent me an email wanting proof of purchase and photos of the issue and would "escalate" the issue. I provided this information (sent a picture of the temperature reading) and still haven't recieved a response in over 24 hours. During the initial call, I was offered no troubleshooting suggestions such as unplugging the unit to reset it etc...which was a suggestion upon researching the issue online. This did correct the problem, however I am concerned this will happen again. This purchase has not been a pleasant experience and I would NOT recommend this product. It is exactly what I ordered. My praise here is for the free prime delivery. The shipping box indicated it was FLOWN in to OHare airport. From there is was moved to a warehouse. From there two guys in a truck delivered it into my house via outside basement stairs. They could not unbox it before bringing it in. So my point is it was shipped by air and truck by pilots and movers for free. We buy a lot from Amazon and pay for PRIME and IT IS WORTH IT. ... show more

This refrigerator / freezer combo so far has been great. I have only owned it for a few months but so far it is working perfectly. It does have a good feature that you can switch easily between a refrigerator or deep freezer. Once unboxed and settled it reached freezer temperature quickly even after being out in 90 degree day, in the shipping truck. Make sure you measure, this unit is tall, but based on the space we wanted to place it, it fit perfect with 1/2" to spare. The price was similar, if not cheaper, than some of the other brands we researched. The storage is not bad at 17 cubic ft. We initially had just the storage of a regular refrigerator, but it was inadequate, this gave us the ability to place items on different shelves and not have them buried. Could you bury items? Yes, but its harder in a tall freezer than a chest freezer. you'd have to really over load it. As far as noise while operating, it has a slight low pitch hum but is not noticeable once not standing directly next to the unit. I'll admit, I was a bit hesitant to buy this refrigerator. I wasn't familiar with BLACK+DECKER as an appliance brand, and there was an unexplained 1-star rating online that gave me pause. However, I rolled the dice because the dimensions were perfect for my small kitchen alcove, and I'm very glad that I did. What I Liked: Perfect for Small Kitchens: The compact footprint is a perfect fit for my small kitchen alcove, where a standard-sized fridge would have been too large. Surprisingly Spacious Interior: This is the most impressive part. Despite being only 16 cu. ft., I was shocked that I could fit everything from my old, much larger 21.3 cu. ft. refrigerator inside. The internal layout is incredibly efficient. Great Features for its Size: The French door design, bottom mount freezer, and built-in ice maker are all features you'd expect on a larger, more expensive model. Quiet Operation: The refrigerator is surprisingly quiet. I barely notice it running, except for maybe a little noise during the initial startup or when the ice maker cycles, which is totally normal. Amazing Value: For the features you get in this compact size, the value at this price point is amazing. It feels like a much more expensive appliance. Sleek Look: The black finish looks modern and sleek in my kitchen. What I Didn't Like: Dim Interior LED Lighting: My only real complaint is that the interior LED lighting isn't very bright. My 20 yr-old fridge broke last Aug '25 and had to use a tiny dorm fridge until I could save $$ for a new one. It was hard to find what I needed. Since I already have two freezers, I wanted just a fridge. This one I purchased is great! 21.2 CuFt with a lot of room. I can switch from fridge to freezer and it is a fantastic option if needed. My cats find it an excellent height to perch on just to torment the humans in the house. Cat approved, apparently. I did not need a water or ice dispenser, either. It arrived with 2 dents. Only reason I did not return it is because I scratched when I moved it. First black appliance I have ever bought and the last, it scratches to easily. The black matt leaves marks and when you wipe it it leaves more mark. But it is very spacious.
