I was having second thoughts on this one but it is really nice. I use it at my parents house for my baby to sleep on, since we do not have a second crib and he is now able to turn. So this is perfect for the floor and even if he wakes up he can turn and just crawl out of the room without us worrying he might fall from the bed. I wanted a Japanese style futon but didn’t want to commit to an expensive mattress. This is turned out to be fantastic its nice and firm with just the right amount of cushioning. Says it’s 3 inches thick but it falls a bit short in that measurement, but i don’t notice any difference. I’ve slept on it a a couple of nights and i find it super comfortable better than my regular bed, my back doesn’t hurt in the mornings. I’m 5’9” 145 - 150 pounds and works great for me. Although I don’t see how it’s foldable, its pretty firm and doesn’t exactly bend or fold up with out maximum effort i just lean it against the wall when not in use. Maybe rolling it would work but that also takes some effort.

I have bought a couple of these. I put one on top of a foam mattress to give it more support. I use the other on the floor when I need to have another sleeping area. I think they are comfortable and do the job.

10 out of 10. I purchased this for our dog due to a back injury. He's not allowed to jump on his favorite couch, so this allows him a comfy space to stretch out and sleep. He loves his dog beds, but this is nice and big.

I was worried it wouldn’t be cushiony and I’d feel all of the floor on my joints but nope. I’m 135 lbs 5’8 and the futon felt soft on the floor. I have a low pile rug under which may help with the fact that I don’t feel like I’m lying on the floor. So I’m very satisfied ◡̈
