I also love the reversible motor that allows me to switch directions for summer and winter use. I upgraded my bedroom ceiling light with this flush mount black fan, and it was a a great decision. I swapped out the standard ceiling light box for a ceiling fan box, which made the installation quick and straightforward. The fan itself is lightweight , eight pounds. It has a wood patterned on top of the blades. I love the modern look. The fan works flawlessly, and the remote is a standout feature. The fan is quiet and efficient, with 6 speeds to choose from. The reversible feature is also nice, allowing me to switch the direction of the blades with the seasons. The light is bright but dimmable, with 6 different color temperatures to choose from. I like the fact that it includes remote control and timer features. This is the strangest ceiling fan I have ever used. For some reason, I can barely feel any air coming from it. I have tried it both on reverse and forward, have it turned to it's highest setting, but very little air flow. It installed fine, the remote works fine, but the most essential function of a fan is airflow, and this simply doesn't produce. ... show more
