All I Want to do is upgrade the poor little streaming box I have had for last three years. This WAS attempt number three. Not sure why they advertise 5G on this, it is nowhere close. Someone should tell them that seeing and connecting to a 5G network does not mean a 5G connection. The ethernet on the unit is just as bad, with it wired I could not crack 40megs while downloading. Speaking of the ethernet this box comes with zero network connectivity abilities...there is no streaming from an already existing networked media server. I ten out of ten do NOT recommend this streaming box. The above network issues were just the tip of the iceberg of the issues I have had with this device. Save yourself and Amazon the frustration of the return, find a different streaming box. This one will just piss you off....

This is a cool gadget. However, I had to do a lot of upgrades as soon as I turn it on. It also will not go back to regular scroll function when your trying simply trying to choose something in an application your currently in. It will only like you use the mouse function. It gets frustrating. Otherwise it would have rated it a 5 star.

This was my second Android TV box; I've been using my previous model for a few years, but decided I wanted more RAM and smoother 4K. So, it's not that I don't know what I'm doing with these things. I hooked this up and it worked nicely. I tested it with some music and it played fine, but when I tried to watch a movie, I got no surround sound... I'd only hear a single channel of background sounds. I tried it with and without audio pass-through in Android settings and in PLEX and KODI settings, and it would either give partial audio or freeze up entirely. Eventually I tried it with the optical audio output instead of the HDMI, and I got the same problems there. I assume this was just a defective audio chip or something, but I eventually just gave up and sent it back.

Did not like the power on power off sleep mode. Unit gets stuck on some apps I have to unplug and reboot. Not what I expected.
