I call this my handy dandy tiny vacuum. It actually has really decent suction. My dogs brought in a pretty large stick from the yard and of course destroyed it into a million pieces. This little vacuum cleaned it up without a problem! It does fine on carpet stairs. Not as well as a large vacuum but again, I have two corgis and a cat that shed all year round. It really shines in really quick small messes. Crumbs, hair that’s collected in corners, upholstery, the car, etc. I will say, the battery could be improved. You have 10 minutes MAYBE. It’s a little disappointing because the device has the potential to clean a lot of things because the suction is there. ... show more

    • Does What It Says: Erases Pet Hair
I have had cats for over 40 years and have moved through all the usual improvements in 'small' hand held vaccuums to assist with the inevitable litter and cat hair clean ups. In short, I've had experience with at least 6 different brand that offer small vaccuums and my last purchase was a "BissellCat Hair Eraser Lithium-ion." For under $80. I finally found the most outstanding vaccuum made specifically for the challenges with having the joy of 'cat-companionship.' It is so up to the task, the name says it all. If it can 'Erase Cat Hair,' imagine what it can do with 'Cat Litter!' In my experience it charges in 4 hours , and holds a charge for 15-30 minutes WHEN YOU USE IT FOR WHAT IT'S ADVERTISED AND NAMED FOR, PET HAIR. If I use it to vaccuum with it 'on' continuously, as in, throwing in jobs meant for my upright Samsung room vaccuum, it will knock off in 8-10 minuets or sooner. Charge time is then 4 hours before you can vaccuum what it was made for, pet beds, pet favorite hang out spaces, and just around the litter box, not the entire room in which the litter box is kept. It has clear green and red lights letting you know when it is fully charged. I've only had it for six months and as I said, if you use it for what it is made for it works like a charm. When I try and use it for all kinds of 'dust-buster' jobs, turning it off and on repeatedly, it will loose its charge quickly. So far as you can guess I'm a real die-hard fan. When I dropped my vac, I needed to replace it and originally went for a cheaper option. Wrong move. Hands down this is the best hand vac, especially for pet hair. I have 3 cat, two long hair who seem to shed their entire coat every 3 days. This machine is unstoppable on the stairs, furniture and cat trees. Its quieter than the cheaper machines, the battery lasts a good while and the suction is great. Its small enough to maneuver with one hand but works as well as a full sized upright. Sorry I bought the cheap one first (which I gave away) and no regrets spending the extra money on this unit. ... show more

This thing works great! We have a yellow lab who sheds A LOT, and a cat. I’ve tried sooo many different things to clean our living room furniture, including our regular vacuum (which has a similar attachment but is obviously not hand held or cordless). This thing is a workhorse. We can clean the couch and loveseat before the battery runs out. Also, with the different attachments or no attachment at all it can be used like our regular Dustbuster. I used the skinny attachment to vacuum the hard to reach areas in my car. I relegated our Dustbuster to the garage and this is the primary cordless hand held in the house now. ... show more

We use this to clean up after a bun. It works very well. Nice suction, battery life is sufficient, and the upholstery tool works great for couches and stairs. Charging takes a while, but great product.
