While the vacuum feels a little heavier than our previous one this isn't an issue once in use. It glides very easily over both hardwood floors and light carpet, and maneuvers well around furniture and tight spaces. The cord is long enough to allow use in multiple rooms without having to unplug and plug in elsewhere. The headlights are great for picking out dust and crumbs that would otherwise be missed, and the light on the crevice tool is a great addition. The two attachments fit nicely out of the way on the body of the vacuum. The dual brushes pick up debris in one pass and the detachable pod makes it easy to clean furniture, stairs, or hard to reach areas. The dirt cylinder is very easy to remove, empty, and out back on. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush has been a great addition to my cleaning routine. As a pet owner, I’m constantly battling dog hair, dirt, and debris, and this vacuum does an excellent job picking up stubborn pet hair from both carpets and hard floors. The DualBrush system provides strong cleaning performance, especially on area rugs and high-traffic areas where pet hair tends to accumulate. I was impressed by the suction power and how effectively it removed embedded hair without requiring multiple passes. The vacuum is easy to maneuver, relatively lightweight, and simple to empty when the dirt bin fills up. The housekeeper really appreciates using this on stairs. The pet-specific attachments are also very useful for cleaning furniture, and other areas where pet hair collects. My only minor criticism is that the brush roll can occasionally require cleaning if you have pets that shed heavily, but that’s common with most vacuums in this category. Overall, if you’re looking for a vacuum designed specifically for pet owners, the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush delivers excellent performance, strong suction, and great value for the price. Our corded Shark stick vac of 10 years bit the dust, so we decided to give Bissell a try. After vacuuming three bedrooms with brand new carpet and a very large living area with old carpet, here are my thoughts: Pros Excellent carpet vacuum, oddly satisfying how the dust collects in the pod. Long cord, strong suction, bright lights, low hum sound- not loud. Also like that the pod detaches from foot of vacuum. Have not checked out the filters yet, but so glad they are washable. The vacuum arrived in one cardboard box with minimal, recyclable packaging. Easy to assemble. Cons/Things to consider A bit heavy, but I'm sure most uprights are. Definitely not pulling out for quick vacuuming every day. Really interested in Bissell's stick version of this now too. This vacuum does not pull debris towards it, only sucks what it moves over. So, as others mentioned, for corners and at baseboards you'll need to use the fine attachment tool- basically every time. The suction on that felt strong. It's nice that the foot detaches to alleviate some bulk and weight, but if you're not always holding the pod with one hand while using the tube in the other hand, the pod will easily fall over. The tube feels short. Also, long hair is wrapped around the brush rolls after this first trial run. Overall, as a reluctant carpet owner with asthma and kids, it's a keeper. I’ve been really impressed with the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser. It handles a lot of things well that matter in a vacuum. The maneuverability is excellent—it’s easy to navigate around furniture and tight spaces without fighting the machine. The built-in light that illuminates where you’re vacuuming is genuinely useful; you actually see what you’re picking up, which sounds simple but makes a real difference. I also appreciate how quickly and smoothly it transitions between hard surfaces and carpet. No fussing around with settings. The tools are intuitive to use too. The hose and wand was easy to use and quickly pull out to clean in tight spaces. Also, when you are done cleaning it was easy empty the dirt and hair out and into the trash without any fuss. This is a great vacuum at a good price point. Key features I found particularly useful were how easy it glides across all floor types, its suction power, the handle on the hose, and how flat it lays when vacuuming, allowing me reach much further under furniture than my old vacuum.     • Good suction and easy to maneuver
We purchased this vacuum because our current vacuum was hard to use on carpet due to the high suction. When we used the Bissell we were pleased at how easily it moved without adjusting the suction, which is a nice option on this vacuum. The light makes it easy to see things on our dark vinyl floor for a better clean overall in hard to see corners. It’s a little heavy even with the detachable base but it weighs the same as our other vacuum and is much easier to maneuver.     • Quit Working After Third Use!!! No Suction!!
Worst vacuum I have ever purchased!!!! Used three times. First good, second not as good, the third time it completely shut down. I took it apart cleaned every nook and cranny….nothing. Suction was very poor and the roller just pushed the dog hair from one place to another. My dustpan and broom did a better job. I have always bought a Shark, but reviews were good so I thought I would go with Bissell. HUGE HUGE disappointment. Save your money!!! ... show more

This thing cleans! If you have kids that constantly drop food get this. It picks up goldfish, popcorn, chips and more instead of pushing it around like a cheaper vacuum. It is heavy but the best. It has LED light on it that you don’t think a vacuum needs. You do! It shows you all the dirt on tile/wood floors and where you haven’t vacuumed yet. ... show more
