How did I live before I got this vacuum!? I have a one-bedroom apartment, wood and tile floors with area rugs, and a dog. After opening the box, it took me under 20 minutes to clean the entire place. This lightweight vacuum has so much power! It’s easy to break down and put together, and so easy to store. When cleaning dog hair out of the rugs, it worked best if I went over them with a pet hair remover brush first to loosen the hair to be vacuumed. My only complaint would be that the cord could be longer - but I only noticed that because I would get an entire room done so quickly with this vacuum! I’ve only had this vacuum for a few weeks, but it has been a game changer for me. It’s so quick and easy to just grab it and go! The suction is really good and picks up our German Shepherd’s hair very well. I like the battery design - it’s removable, so you can charge it anywhere, like a countertop, or you can charge it at the doc station if you choose to go that route. Plus, when the battery goes bad, you can just replace the battery instead of the whole vacuum. It’s small and compact and the attachments work well. It’s easy to clean baseboards with. Purchased to use on carpeted stairs because it's extremely light weight, and for occasional use on certain area rugs in the house in between regular vacuuming. First impression was it looks like a toy vacuum. Certainly not meant to replace a regular vacuum, but the suction is pretty decent and it's super convenient to use and store away. I do not write reviews very often, but this is the exception. I hurt my shoulder a couple weeks ago and have been unable to use my heavy vacuum. I bought the Bissell because it seemed light weight and easy to use. I can’t recommend this thing enough. Assembly was a breeze. It’s very lightweight but durable. I like the way I can quickly convert from handheld to the stick vacuum. Just used it on my carpeted steps and could not believe how much dog hair and dirt this thing picked up. Very easy to clean without a lot of mess. I wish the cord was a little longer, but that is my single complaint. ... show more

Ordered this extremely basic stick vacuum for under $40 with mildly hopeful expectations. It does a great job sucking up cat litter and debris. It has powerful suction for what is essentially a glorified dust buster. I love that it plugs in so I never run out of power, like the battery-powered hand vacuum we have which always seems unusable. I have zero complaints. My only recommendation for improvement is a brush attachment. There doesn't seem to be one that you can even buy separately. This is perfect for vacuuming hard floors and low pile rugs, especially for spot cleaning if you have short-haired pets. 100% recommend for those purposes. ... show more

Easy to assemble right out of the box can be used less than 5 minutes. The cord is a little short. This works great with the crevice tool or even without any tool, though the suction is spread out more without a tool attached. The draw back is the wider tool for floor use is almost useless on carpet since the only way for it to draw maximum suction is to use it at right angle to the floor surface. That means straight upright with no slanting. In that position there is no way to move it across the carpet to brush the dirt to get it loose. Just tipping it slightly obstructs the air flow enough to keep it from picking up most dirt, let alone hair or anything but very light dust. The floor attachment works slightly better on bare floor if you tip it just a little, but any tipping decreases the suction the more it is tipped. If you need only a hand held vac. you shouldn't have any problem. They should have just skipped the floor tool to keep the price a little lower. This is the same problem I have had with every vacuum of this type I have ever used. ... show more

Very strong suction on this sturdy small vacume. Love that it doesn't have a roller/spinning brush for my hair to wrap around. Vacumes with brushes I need to cut my hair from because they get tangled around it. I use it in my approximately 400 sq Casita I stay in for the winters. Cord is super long and this vacume is super light which is another thing I like about it. Very easy to clean filters. Super compact so it doesn't take up much room in my small closet. Filter is small so it will not suck well if filter is full/plugged up but that doesn't take much time at all to clean out. Love it. My gf did as well so she bought one to use in her RV because she has two dogs with long fur. Like I said it has no spinning brush for hair to get stuck/wrap around it. ... show more

This works perfect for what I got it for. I keep this little vacuum plugged in tucked away next to the cat's litter box. It sucks up all of the scattered bits of litter that end up on the floor. It is very lightweight and easy to use. I've used it daily for a couple of months and it's still going strong. A couple of Cons- I use this on smooth laminated flooring. I would NOT use it on my hardwood as it's not cushioned at all and might scrape them. I doubt it would work very good on tiled floor with deep grooves. It is a little awkward to empty as the whole bottom comes off, but its not terrible. ... show more
