  • The Mighty Mini-Vacuum
After several years and thousands of purchases, I think this small and mighty vacuum is the thing I use the most. I initially bought it for quick cleanups in the bathroom - I hate seeing hair strands on the floor - and now I whip this thing out several times a day if necessary. It's not meant for big jobs. Reading the reviews makes me wonder if the expectation for this strong, mini machine was meant to replace a standard vacuum which it obviously was not born to do. The instructions say that it can give you 12 mins of cleaning from full charge. I've never had to use it from being fully charged to it dying on me, but after a good amout of cleaning, the charge indicator level drops, so 12 minutes seems reasonable. However, I've seen other reviewers mention that there's no suction or little suction power but this has not been my experience at all. This mighty so far handled everything that came its way - from hair, fine dust, kitchen spills, car interior cleaning and misplaced earrings 🤦🏻♀️ I think this is the best money I've spent. I'm tempted to purchase more just to have it within arm's reach where ever I am in the house. But instead, I've already decided I'm gifting this to friends and family for Christmas. It's something that, guaranteed, would always be in use and be an asset in quick tidy ups. There's nothing to hate about this mini machine: It's cordless, so it goes where you go; Lightweight, no heavy lifting; Very thoughtful charging station/accessory holder; Rechargeable in just under 3 hours; Strong suction. Just buy it, I am so happy I did! ... show more

  • Does Just What I Wanted
I read a lot of reviews of these little vacs. They all have drawbacks, so I decided to go with one of the least expensive with reasonably good reviews. I LOVE it. It does exactly what I expected. It picks up small stuff--for instance, I can vac out my kitchen drawers in a snap, pick up crumbs from tables and counters, grab up small bits on the floor. This is for that sort of cleaning and for "spot" cleaning. It's not going to have amazing suction power. It's not for heavy pet hair though it will get up some. You will need to clean it a couple of times if you pick up a lot of stuff while you're cleaning. But it's easy to clean/wash. I keep mine charging all the time and I've never had it lose its charge doing the bits of "here and there" cleaning that I use it for. Highly recommend. (the one thing I hate is the ridiculously short length of the charging cable) ... show more

  • Lint roller/vacuum combo...
I've been using this vacuum for six months. For an urban, married couple, it's good enough. If you expect this vacuum to pick up the debris that comes with three kids and a dog, I would probably go with something bigger. I was a little surprised at how fast the "dirt tank" filled up. I found that going over the carpet with a sticky tape lint roller before using the vacuum helped a lot. The lint roller picks up the larger bits of gravel, dirt, leaves, hair etc. so the vacuum can work on the smaller stuff. I've been using the lint roller once a week or so. Every two weeks I'll use the lint roller and the vacuum immediately after. The brush on the attachment is helpful for releasing stuck bits of dirt from the carpet and hard to reach areas. Occasionally the attachment will fall off the body of the vacuum but, if you periodically check to make sure it's pushed in all the way you can minimize that. Emptying the dirt tank is best done in a well ventilated area. There is a filter that needs to be tapped on the edge of a garbage can to release the dirt. Replacement filters are sold for $9.99 for four. I've been throwing them away after three or four uses because, living in the city, I don't have anywhere I want to wash and dry them for re-use. At $2.50 per filter, I'm ok with treating them as disposable. The battery lasts enough to get the two front carpets 100% clean. Then I'll have to take it in for a recharge. This is actually fine for me. My hand gets tired by the time the battery runs out anyway. The vacuum is just a round cylinder. It's not what you would call ergonomic in any way. However, unless you have arthritis or carpal tunnel you'll be ok using it for twenty minutes or so. A few minor complaints... first: the power button. It is positioned in place where it can easily be turned off while you're using it. This was a problem until I figured out how to work around it. If you intend to keep this machine in the car, I strongly suggest you store it in the box it came in. I was driving my SUV one cold rainy night and the power button was activated from items shifting around in the rear of the vehicle. I really thought the noise I heard was an air conditioner vent in the back seat. Nope, it was the vacuum. Also, the dirt tank was full. So the air coming out was blasting stinky air all over my car while I drove. If the vacuum is full of dirt, the air coming out of it will be somewhat stinky. Use it outside and you'll be fine. I wouldn't use it inside an enclosed garage without some kind of 3M dust mask. Final complaint: the USB port is the old style USB. Most new electronics are using USB C by now. It's a little disappointing to get something I'll be using for several years into the future with this old USB cable. Would I buy it again? Yes, with the lint roller assistance, I'm happy with it. Without the lint roller trick I probably would want something with a bigger dirt tray and a proper HEPA filter. ... show more
