I bought the rough country dual airbag setup for my 2018 Dodge Ram 2500. I like to take my truck on the beach and a little off road and decided that the fully bolted in application wouldn't work for me. I installed the brackets for the air bags and placed the rough country cradles underneath (bought separately). I marked the location and removed the bag. drilled a center hole, tapped it for the included both and bolted it in. It looks like it was meant for the original kit. Saved a few brackets from having to be used. If only they would send straight fittings for the air bags so you can use a socket to tighten them as they both leaked and it's hard to get in to tighten the 90 elbows once its installed. 10/10 the cradles are worth it if you have the option, and the kit looks stock once installed. I drilled out the two license plate bolts and replaced them with the air inlet fittings. pretty slick looking if you ask me! All in all a great product and I would buy again if needed! I am pulling a 36' 5th wheel with my truck so these should help level the truck some while loaded down. ... show more

They are more stiff than other brands I’ve used when unloaded (with 5psi) but have performed well under load. No complains about install. I used cradles. Application: 22 Power Wagon (stock)

Perfect fit for 2019 ram 2500. Mounting plates and bags are very high quality with a good coating. Air line fittings could be better and NO TEE FITTING.. I highly recommend one or you will be filling the sides individually which can get difficult (applying a tire gauge can cost 2-5psi). Also, Teflon tape that’s included is kinda trash.. Recommend buying your own, and/or testing before bolting everything up! (I had to install these bags twice because of it) Besides that, I’m very happy with the product! A must for towing more than 12,000lbs! And at the price you can’t expect more! ... show more

    • Stopped the dreaded sway when the bed is loaded with 2,000 lbs.
Put these in 2 years ago with a compressor and a gauge in the dash. They stopped my truck from swaying when hauling heavy loads. Love that they have bump stops in them. And not one single air leak yet. Levels my truck when I hook up the camper and have not had to use a weight distribution hitch. These are quality airbags that do not leak. The installation was simple and took me about 1.5 hours. I have installed Air Lift airbags before and these Rough Country bags are just as good for a fraction of the price. You won’t be disappointed. During installation of airbags I always use Permatex thread sealant with PTFE and that is a gamechanger for helping assure there are no leaks.
