I have long black hair that always gets tangle in my previous vac. With this one it doesn’t get caught in the brush like it did the other. Most of it goes straight into the dust container. Love the steering, super flexible and easy on the wrists. So much more power than the cordless vac and picks up way more!! I used to vac every week with my cordless vac but 5 minutes with this thing made all that look like nothing. Only thing I’d need to adjust is the ability to vacuum the rugs. It’s so strong even when it’s on the portable setting, my rugs still gets disarray. It’s a little on the heavy size but nothing like the older vacs and much more convenient than the two separate piece vacs. It was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were very easy to read. Ai was able to buy a ‘used’ or ‘cosmetically’ damaged one but it was only an opened box and the product was just repackaged poorly and it might be missing an attachment or two but not like I was going to use them anyways so I got a good deal… still… it’s worth the full price. I bought this to replace my Dyson stick vac, and so far, it’s been a solid choice. My 12-year-old grandson easily assembled it, which was a plus. The suction is strong and has picked up dirt that my Dyson missed. I also like that it’s lightweight and fairly compact. The only downside is the smaller canister, so I have to empty it more often than I did with my Dyson. Overall, it's a great vacuum! ... show more

We used the vacuum for less than a year and loved it. Three person household plus a golden retriever. The vacuum worked well, and we regularly cleaned the wheels and emptied the bin of dust and hair. But less than a year in, the rug brushes stopped working. Contacted Bissell for a warranty claim and were advised to ship it back to them....easier said than done, even with their paid shipping label. Good luck finding a huge box and then packing up a vacuum to send off...but we did it. Turns out they were unable to repair the device, so they sent us a brand new one - a great end result, but only after a product failure and hassle of shipping it back. When/if it works, it works well, but you might want to save the box it came in just in case you need to send it back! ... show more

I had a Kenmore canister vacuum, when that died I decided I wanted something smaller. I have had this one for a few months now and have been very happy with it. Although it does not have the suction power of my old vacuum, it is so much more maneuverable that I would not switch back. I love how lightweight it is, and that all the parts are clear so I can see if it is starting to clog (I have pet rabbits and the hay clogs all vacuums, not a fault of this one). It is very easy to empty the canister and clean it out. My biggest complaint is the cord, I wish there was some sort of quick release clip on the handle for when you switch back and forth to the wand. There is a notch to hold it but it seemed like it was damaging the cord. The furniture attachment is not powered, but it seems pretty good, much better than the one on my carpet cleaner. The beater height is not adjustable, the carpet height button just changes the suction power so I would not recommend this if you have high pile carpets. Overall I would recommend this if you are looking for a lightweight maneuverable vacuum that is cost effective but doesn't necessarily have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive models. ... show more

This replaced my last Bissell that I used for 13 years. I love the small head that swivels - I was worried that it would make control too loose and make me work harder - but it does not. The lights on the front really show when I need to keep vacuuming, making all corners of rooms cleaner than with my old vacuum. The sucking power is truly phenomenal even through the extension hose - my sliding door and window tracks have never looked better. I l thought my old vacuum was doing great up until it died since it was filling up with dog fur and dirt....but the first 2 times with the new vacuum sucked up so much more that the old vacuum had apparently been leaving behind. Now I really feel confident that my carpeted floors are truly getting cleaned - and the rooms even smell better! In between weekly vacuuming I no longer get dog fur picked up on my socks. ... show more

Not sure why I didn’t buy one of these sooner. I like to think that my hardwood floors are always ‘clean’. I used to think they were until I used this floor cleaner! When I saw it the waste water after doing just one room, I could not believe my eyes. The water was proof that I was not getting my floors as clean as I thought I had been. I can not express how happy I am with this purchase! This machine is amazing. I have sever sinus issues, really long hair that goes everywhere and always gets tangled up in vacuum brushes and had a really horrible vacuum before I got this one! This was the answer to my prayers all in 1... the Hepa filter is amazing all that goes in stays locked in so if you've got allergy and sinus issues this is a godsend! no irritation from just simply running the vacuum, the brush is spotless after vacuuming the entire house so passed the tangle free brush test and I thought my apartment floors were clean, hell no! I had a tank full and I wasn't even trying too hard was just testing it! And operating it is so smooth, such a powerful machine the suction on this thing is incredible.... love that the brush automatically pauses while vacuum is on if you put it back into an upright position that feature is a bonus. 2 thumbs up!!! def recommend ... show more
