The product being reviewed is described by various users as both effective and disappointing. While some users find these pumps great for tasks like spraying farm chemicals, roof cleaning, and pressure washing, citing their power and ability to handle caustic chemicals with proper rinsing, others express dissatisfaction with their durability and quality over time. The longevity of the pumps seems to be a significant issue, with some pumps failing within a year or even five weeks, despite the manufacturer's reputation for producing lasting products.

Pros

  • 👍 Effective for a variety of uses, including farm chemical spraying, roof cleaning, and pressure washing
  • 👍 Capable of handling caustic chemicals with proper maintenance
  • 👍 High power output, able to shoot weeds 40 feet away
  • 👍 Some users report satisfactory performance when the product is properly maintained and rinsed after use

Cons

  • 👎 Durability concerns, with some pumps failing within a year or even just five weeks
  • 👎 Quality has reportedly declined over time, according to long-term users
  • 👎 Issues with connections getting loose over time

Should I Buy It?

Considering the mixed reviews, purchasing this pump depends on your willingness to maintain it rigorously and your tolerance for the possibility of needing to replace it sooner than expected. If you're using it for professional purposes and it quickly pays itself off, it might be worth the investment. However, for those seeking longevity and reliability above all, exploring other options could be advisable.

  • Has great reviews

I spent the extra money for a quality pump and this was a huge disappointment. It did work as advertised and I sure did like it, but it made it just over a year and it quit. It no longer works at all and I'm having to replace it. I use these a lot. We spray farm chemicals with them weekly. We do take good care of them but we do use them a lot. I expected this pump to last for at the least several years for the price, but it only lasted about a year. I can buy cheaap pumps with the same GPM and pressure for 1/3 the cost and they last longer. I do not believe I got a good value for my money. ... show more

  • It works
Item Package Quantity: 1
Kinda unorthodox packaging but I’m not planning on babying the pump. Was a bit damp on arrival. Pump didn’t work at first but it turns out a fuse blew in my wire harnesses,(not the pump fuse) was only a 7.5amp fuse. Threw in the correct size and it’s been running well. Iv had 4-5 of these and they normally last me the better part of a year running caustic chemicals through it. I rinse with about 5 gal H2O after each use. ... show more

My husband uses this pump for the sprayer mounted on our 4-wheeler and he says it puts out a lot of power and can shoot weeds 40 feet away.

  • Will NOT Last Longer than 5 Weeks!
Item Package Quantity: 1
Let me start by saying that I NEVER give 1-star reviews. However I’ve purchased 20+ Everflo pumps over the last 5 years spending thousands of dollars on this brand. They used to be great and reliable, but the quality continues to go downhill. They are now to the point that you can expect them to last 5 weeks - which coincidentally is 1 week past the return window. The last 4 Everflo pumps we’ve ordered have lasted EXACTLY 5 weeks, and they then stop self-priming or just stop working altogether. I try to be loyal to a specific brand, however these have been a huge let down over the last 12+ months. Save your money and spend a little bit more on another brand. This brand is no longer reliable, and these WILL let you down and waste your time and money. ... show more

  • Dud
Item Package Quantity: 1
Well I usually order ahead of time to keep a spare in my truck. When I got it I found it to be pretty dirty but I didn’t think much of it. I went to install it yesterday and it had a crack at the fitting connection and my heart sank because I realized I was passed the return window. Not sure why I was sent a dud but I’ll never order through this source again if this is the type of quality control they have. ... show more

  • Good soft wash pump.
Item Package Quantity: 1
When properly set up these pumps run bleach through them non stop. If I burn one up in 3-4 months I don’t care as they make me my money back in the first job. I’m on my 3rd one and can’t complain. They get the job done.
