I thought this machine would be wonderful since it seemed light and portable. However, while using the machine, the design of the dirty water intake cup is such that the dirty water leaked out of the intake cup, and onto the machine, and then got blown out onto the carpet. I checked several times the instructions on how to put on the dirty water intake cup to make sure I was doing it right; I also checked the instructions several times to make sure I was using the machine at the right angle but the leaking kept on happening.....sigh of frustration.....it looked like such a good solution, too.....and after a while, it does get heav....I'd rather have a hose to use, then the whole machine..... ... show more

If it wasn’t because it leaks as it’s picking up my dogs urine with the provided cleaner I would give it 5 stars. Charges quickly cleans well just I do not understand if the waste tank is secured why it leaks when the machine is sucking up the mess. I had ordered replacement and it still continues

    • Fits my need but the product is not put together well.

Needed to replace a Little Green and was looking for something smaller ( I have only 1 small pup). This is perfect for that need but I find leaks at just about every part of this machine. Water drips from the reservoir, it drips for the dirty water tank. It's just not put together well. In the end I will keep it because we aren't talking about a large amount of water AND it does do the job so it's not a huge deal for me. Be warned though, if you don't want to have to wipe down surfaces every time you are preparing or cleaning up this product research other options. Bought back in Feb. of this year. Was ELATED with it for 2 months. Cleans beautifully but and it's a big but it leaks. The soap container leaks terribly making me believe I was using a lot of cleaner. I called they said it needed the cap part but they were out of them at the time (should have known then). Then, the bottom starting leaking out dirty liquid that I had cleaned up off the floor. Thought I got a lemon called customer service, could not understand person I conversed with but he led me to believe this was common. They sent me another machine. Ok, 3 months later same thing happened to it! Called them again, they said they sent the 2nd machine so we could interchange the parts. We did, both still leaks. So third call, guess what another machine arrives. I have always bought Bissell products, carpet cleaner, vacuums, etc. but after this ordeal I am done with Bissell. Loved this product it cleaned beautifully, but it just plain leaks. I recommended to my friends when I first got it, I just hope none of them bought one..... ... show more

The Bissell pet stain eraser leaks as it sucks up the mess, therefore defeating the purpose of this device. The terribly made plastic holding container allows some of the dirty liquid to escape.

UPDATED (10 months after purchase) - Initial issues mentioned in initial review were addressed by a replacement. With weekly to bi-weekly use for no more than 5 minutes at a time, the same and new issues slowly developed over a 10-month period to the point I was no longer able to use - read below for details. -Leak in cleaning solution tank worsened to the point that any liquid completely drains. Took me forever to catch on I wasn't spraying it all out but rather it leaked out after putting it away. I don't even want to think about the wasted money on refill purchases. - Started spraying black liquid on the initial spray when using. I did not change storing location. No idea! - Charge does not last and is so slow to charge. - Spray no longer work. Squeeze trigger and nada. This thing works for stains when it itself works right. FORMER POST: This thing gets up stains and works for what it is intended to do; however, I have experienced two issues. When not in use and sitting up I noticed it leaks. Also, the power cord port is difficult to use. The instructions say the port will slide out of the way when you plug it in but it's more like you have to forcefully push it in. It leaks nasty dirty water.I have tried everything and it doesn’t stop leaking. I have followed all instructions they showed on their video and it didn’t work.
