Apologies to the manufacturer. The mistake was mine. After using the chipper a few hours, it worked well but was finally jammed with a 1 1/4" stick in the chipper section. If the stick is bent a bit, the opening is unable to accommodate a slight bend it and can get stuck. If you want to chip a 3" stick, it needs to be perfectly straight. If you stay within its limitations, it does fine. Engine starts easily.

Very pleased with it and easy to follow assembly instructions. Its an impressive work horse does more then it says but make sure big branches are straightish or it will jam up, straighter the better and watch your hands when feeding small sharp branches. Don't even dream of using it without protective gear and sleeves. Pushes around easily with the big tyres can hitch up to a quad or towbar.

Not good at leaf mulching. Unit doesn't have enough suction to pull them in.

This machine does not shred anything that goes through the top hopper. It just breaks it down like a lawn mower would do. Also extremely loud and the exhaust port can blow material back onto the top of motor causing a fire hazard. Very disappointed. Also extremely loud and almost impossible to return.
