I love, love this mower, I have arthritis in my shoulders and can’t pull to start the Toro mower I have, so I have to rely on someone to start the mower for me. I’m 70 years old woman and enjoy mowing my yard. This Bilt Hard mower lets me do this on my own time and when I want. The batteries have lasted longer than I did. I bought it strictly for my back hard because my riding mower will not fit through the gate. I use the mulcher and filled 4 bags. I put on number 2 setting because I needed to fertilizer and wanted it low enough to thoroughly clean my yard. I have no problems with the mower. Also in the picture you can see where I haven’t weed eaten yet, and you can see where I did mow. I love the mower!

What a great mower for a reasonable price. It's easy to assemble, lightweight, and so easy to push while mulching. The motor is pretty quiet compared to gas powered mowers. The battery could last a few minutes longer in my opinion, but it is perfect for smaller properties. I'm really happy with my purchase!!

DO NOT BUY. I've had mine for a year now and the experience gets worst with each use. I moved into a mobile home where you're responsible for lawn care or face fines each week, the product's description sound like a perfect fit for my case. With each passing week or so the batteries (which are not universal and hard to find compatible ones even from original factory) slowly die before finishing my small lawn lot. Unfortunately now the motor can't keep up with thicker grass patches like it used to and now stalls spending valuable power just to start and go over again. SAVE YOUR MONEY, go name brand.

I initially received a defective battery set with my BILT HARD 40V cordless lawn mower, which was frustrating. But I want to give credit where it’s due — the company stood by their product and replaced the battery set as promised. I received the replacement today, and everything is working perfectly. Nice little machine does a decent job, however battery power is limited and sometimes can’t get the job finished having to recharge which takes quite a while. Inquired about buying a spare set of batteries not available at Amazon and the cost coming from bilt hard is higher than what I paid for the machine itself.

I purchased this lawn mower in early September 2025. I used it approximately 5 times with good results, but then it stopped working. It would not start. It would sputter when I attempted to start it but it would not run. And, since I was just beyond the 30-day return period, I could not simply return it. So I contacted Bilt Hard customer service. In the course of a week, their team worked promptly and diligently with me to troubleshoot the problem. They had me try different troubleshooting steps and send them photos and a video, which I was happy to do. After one week of these attempts, they sent me a replacement lawn mower, which works perfectly. So, while I was disappointed by the early failure of the first mower, that disappointment was more than compensated for by how impressed I was by the outstanding customer service that I received from Bilt Hard. After making a serious attempt to investigate and remedy the probem with the original mower, they did the right thing by sending me a new one. And they did all of this promptly and with great diligence. Let's face it: any mechanical device can fail unexpectedly. The true test of the integrity of a manufacturer is how it responds to such failures. In the case of my lawn mower, the response of Bilt Hard was a model of excellent customer service, which is why this company deserves my 5-star rating.

Was a bit tricky for me to assemble by myself but I did it. The batteries snapped in so much easier than the last battery operated mower I had (different brand). Only have used it once so far but it overall worked well. It stalled at first but my grass was a bit high. After I raised it a couple levels up I had no problem and it ran well. Pushes easily I feel. So far I would recommend.
