The media could not be loaded. Overall, the rack is easy to assemble, robust, and a bargain for what you get, but it isn’t a good choice for a step-through bike unless you first fit the bike with an accessory crossbar designed for this purpose. The reason is that the hooks intended to secure the top of the bike (common among bike racks) have nothing to grab onto as shown in one of my pictures because there's no top tube. You can grab the frame much lower, but the bike manufacturers warn against this because it doesn’t secure the bike’s weight well enough. I own a hitch-mounted single-bike rack that employs a different type of upper clamp specifically to address this issue without the need for an accessory attachment for step-through bikes. I was able to whip this thing together in about 30-35 minutes with the use of good tools, including 14mm and 18mm ratcheting wrenches and T-handle hex keys, 6mm and 8mm. There were no real hiccups, though you’ll save yourself some doing and undoing if you measure the length of the bolts in mm and match that to the parts-list key in the directions. Then you’ll know which lengths among the supplied hardware match the letter designations. As another photo shows, the hooks have some lubricant on the protective foam, which I wiped off to protect the bikes. After the ebike couldn’t be secured as desired, I grabbed a neglected mountain bike with a top tube off the wall to see how it mounted. Unfortunately, this old model has bare brake and shift cables running along the top tube, so I had to slip a card underneath them to protect the paint. Otherwise, it secured nicely both up here and at the wheels. Ebikes and the rack itself are both heavy, which seems unavoidable, but it does affect loading/unloading and the tilt feature, so make sure you’re up to the task. Ditto for your vehicle, especially a small one. There are limits to the weight you want swinging around behind your rear axle, especially considering how far back it is with this rack, which weighs about 44 pounds. Add the maximum bike weight of 80 lbs. apiece and you’re over 200 pounds. This can induce fishtailing, especially on slippery surfaces. I noticed a good deal of play in the mounted rack so I experimented with the anti-rattle clamp (see video). The instructions show it in use as a stop so the pin holes align when you slide the rack into your hitch receiver, and not in the traditional position that bridges the receiver and tube but requires you to wrench it on after mounting and off again before removal. With the plate in the conventional orientation, it didn’t help much, so I turned it in a way that worked better but I don't know yet if it will loosen over miles. If you want to eliminate movement and rattle, stick with the proper way by mounting and pinning the rack and then clamping the plate over both the receiver and inserted tube before wrenching it tight.

Stay away! Delivered broken part (see pictures). Not damage during delivery - no broken off pieces in the box. This is in addition to scraped paint here and there with bare metal ready to rust. Poor quality control.
