This chair has been a real standout. I'm a big guy (275 lbs) and I record and mix music so I spend a *lot* of time in the chair. I have a bad back, too. This chair has really helped me stay productive without pain. BUT...the real story is Colamy's customer service. Part of the back seat mesh got damaged over a year after I bought the chair and I contacted them for a replacement seat back. They asked for a photo, etc., which is reasonable. They then informed me that this particular model of big/tall chair was discontinued, and to my astonishment, shipped a complete replacement chair, latest model, to me at no charge. It arrived within 3 days of the email exchange. To say it's unusual to get genuine customer service these days without angst or evasion is an understatement. I do hope everyone who reads this review will take Colamy's outstanding customer service into account when researching products in markets they serve; I'm more than delighted. ... show more

LIke: Ease of assembly. Width of seat. Back springs gently as I lean back or forward, after properly setting the back and sliding seat. Could improve: Ok, so I'm 250lbs, but I would have liked a little firmer feel in the cushion. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of cushion and it does not bottom out. But just sayin' a little firmer to make me feel young again. LOL. Also would be nice if the height could adjust another inch or 2 lower to make it easier to lean forward to touch the floor with my hands and tie my shoes. Bottom height is 19". Conclusion: This is a heavy solid Office chair, designed for us larger people. It's going to last a long time with very supportive shock and smooth rolling wheels. It's professional looking, ventilates well, has a design where you can hang your jacket on the back out of the way. Good, solid, comfortable, adjustable seat and back and height.     • Great chair for big fellas
I bought this chair to replace another one I had gotten off amazon that broke. ( I am getting warranty parts for it thankfully, but I wanted to get one that would be more - sturdy.) This chair was a breeze to set up, I did it by myself in about 15-30 minutes, i took longer since I had little room to work with with all the cleaning I was doing lol. After my old computer chair collapsed when I was working in it, which left me struggling to get off the floor, I immediately ordered this chair which supports 450lbs (why more than I weigh but I wanted the strength). Amazon delivered and assembled it today and I am so extremely pleased. Very comfortable seat, the back panel can be readjusted to stay stuff or flex, and the back of the chair has a place to hang a sweater or a short robe so its perfect for my home office. well build chair and I look forward to enjoying this chair for many years ahead. ... show more

    • Back breast doesn’t hold up right
The problem I ran into is after about two weeks the backrest won’t stay in the vertical position you set it at. You’ll be sitting in the chair and all of a sudden it will let go and you’ll fall backwards a few inches. Very dangerous.

Didn't make it 7 months. Gas spring is letting go by not holding it's charge so the chair will slowly sink down. No where near the weight limit for this chair, just cheap materials.

I am nearly 400 pounds and have destroyed. Every officer I've had an under 3 month. This chair is held up great shows. No sign of where define point a high quality product definitely Excellent for the value
