    • If you figure it out, it’s enjoyable, but it doesn’t last.
Loved this frother initially. It took some getting used to to understand the amount of milk I could put in to minimize spilling, but once I got that figured out it worked quite well. I also had to experiment a lot with the temperature of the milk to maximize foam, but being able to put this on the stove was a great feature. I was using this with non dairy milks with pretty good results. I had to stop using though, maybe a year after purchasing because the Teflon coating, which I wasn’t thrilled about to begin with, began to come off. This was not because of washing or using it wrong. I mostly hand washed it and hardly ever used any utensils in the frother. The plunger itself seems to have rubbed off the coating little by little. The Teflon coating was not functioning correctly from the beginning, I had trouble with milk just sort of glued to the inside everytime I used it. Very disappointed. It was an expensive purchase to start and I will not be buying again. ... show more

Exactly what my headline said. I have this in the 6-cup size but honestly that made too much froth for the one or two people I usually make coffee for. This smaller size is perfect. I love that these go right on the stove. I always love Bialetti.

Poor design. Bialetti must have redesigned the frother. I’ve used a gray colored Bialetti frother for 3 yrs and only recently noticed some wear and tear. Ordered a new one and can see some differences. Shorter handle and the lid/top has a looser fit which unfortunately causes massive leaking (see picture). And most importantly the milk doesn’t get a nice froth. Disappointed. ... show more

Excellent. Perfect size for 1 or 2 coffees! If you have more than 2 family members or friends who likes coffee I recommend the bigger size then for almost the same price

    • Messy and doesn't seem to get too frothy
I was hoping to get a frothing unit to replace the hand held battery brother that kept breaking down. I loved the idea that I can place this one directly on the stove and heat up the milk. I've tried using it a few times and the froth really doesn't get that fluffy, and it's usually just hot milk with some bubbles on top. It's also a very messy unit to use - in taking out the top, you are bound to spill the milk all over the counter. ... show more
