Whenever I use it on it's maximum setting, I truly feel the heat of hell pouring out of an ancient rift in space and time. And as the heat and noxious vapors fill my lungs and I start to die, I'm like, WHY DID I BUY THAT HEATER. So I wouldn't ever be cold. Ever again. Like ever. (There were no noxious vapors.)

The media could not be loaded. Was so excited to get this and use it, but it makes the MOST AWFUL NOISE. It also arrived with loose screws but I tightened them and that was the problem. My husband thought I was using a hedge trimmer this thing is so loud. Now, I like a little white noise but this is rattling and horrible. Heats fine, but nope. Very disappointed.

We got the BEYOND HEAT 1300W/1500W Heater Milk-house Space Heater with Thermostat for a general backup heater for the laundry room during the really cold snaps we sometimes get. This is a pretty standard utility heater with 2 Heat Settings and one setting for Fan Only. As with all "milk-house" heaters, this is a noisier than most space heaters but it is intended for a garage or other mostly unoccupied area, not a bedroom. The fan moves a good amount of air and it has an tip-over cutoff mechanism and overheat alert light ("Caution") for safety. There is also a helpful "anti-freeze" setting so the until will automatically turn on the heat if the temperature drops below 40 degrees (if it's plugged in, obviously). There are pre-drilled holes in the top for an included handle, but one of the screws just spins and doesn't hold very well; like the hole is slightly stripped. The top and side handles also feel a bit flimsy, like the metal is thinner than on the previous Milk-house heaters we've had. That should matter too much for us, but it could matter for some people so I deducted a star for the handle issues. As with all space heaters, you should not leave these completely unattended, and should at least monitor them from time-to-time to make sure they are working correctly. PROS: - Heats up quickly - Fan moves a good amount of air - 3 Settings; fan, lo heat, high heat - Thermostat - Anti-freeze setting CONS: - a bit Noisy - Handles feel a little flimsy Recommended.

Pros: - Lots of heat ouput for size - Easy to set up - blows a decent distance - Good for small rooms Cons: - You'll need to have this sit on a stand or desk. I wish it was a bit taller.
