This vacuum works really well, very satisfied considering the price. Works just as well as any similar item twice the price. Very easy to operate and easy to clean. Suction power is pretty good! You do have to hold down the power button while in use instead of just turning it on and having it stay on until you turn it off. So that can be a little tiring for a bigger job that takes a bit of time to get thru. But this is perfect for quick little pickups. Absolutely recommend. This has lasted me nearly 4 years, and still works, but the inside flap (that prevents things from coming back out) got old and fell off months ago. This bothers me because, when I suck up an insect, it's able to fly back out. I love that it can hang on the wall. I wish the replacement part I need is easier to find..still looking... ... show more

I bought this vacuum as a convenient option for cleaning up small spills without having to drag out the huge vacuum for a minute or two, unwrap the long cord, plug it in, turn it on for a few seconds, take both hands to push it back and forth a few times, just to put it back away and wrap the cord up, then lug the heavy thing away back where it came from. Are you still with me? Because I would be tired just reading that entire process myself. It's much easier to grab this off the charger and click it on effortlessly and clean up whatever small debris happened to fall on the floor. I originally bought this because I own 3 male rats and they like to throw their seed shells out of the cage bars onto the floor now and again, it's not a big mess so it's easy to suck up their misplaced food/bedding. While it is great for large crumbs/bits, it's not effective against pet hair on carpet/fabric, if you own a cat/dog this will NOT be your go to. I would suggest a lint roller for furniture or a regular large vacuum for your floors (I've never seen a handheld vacuum do pet hair as well). I've had this vacuum for 5 months and still works great and holds a charge. ... show more

This minivac is useful for small cleanups, but it has a couple of quirks buyers should know about. Firstly, it not only can be wall-mounted, it MUST be. I mistakenly thought that mounting the base on an upright surface was optional. It isn't. I finally stuck if on the side of a bookcase, which works well, although it looks a bit strange. The second problem, from my perspective, is that it has a fringe of bristles. I suppose that may be useful if you want it to stir up dust so it can suck it in, but I find it to be a nuisance, since I always seem to be clearing debris off the bristles. Especially dog hair. My third objection is that you have to constantly hold the button down. I'd prefer to be able to turn it on when I start to use it and turn it off when I'm done. It does pick up small amounts of debris, but not enough to offset the nuisances, IMO. I'll probably keep it until it dies, but when I buy a new one, I'll look at a different model. ... show more

It had enough power in it upon arrival to pick up some lint & dirt on my scatter rugs. She's plugged in to get charged and then I can see how long she kicks for battery life. At this point, I'll give her a 5 just because she was willing and ready out of the box. If you get replacement filters at the same time, beware. This one has a very "short" or "stubby" little filter that just clears the little rubber flappy thing when put in place. The ones I got are longer, they FIT, but I don't know if the length of them will be a problem or not. I hope not. I'm happy to have a little B&D back in my life. She will definitely make quick pick ups & tidying easier to do. With a dog & his little "dust bunnies" all over, B&D will be a treat to use. ... show more

So, I am going to call it like it is, this is called a dustbuster for reason. My husband and I laid vinyl planks throughout our home and have cats. I needed something to pick up the dust bunnies, hair, and occasionals pieces of litter etc. In that respect this, dustbuster is great and works good enough to me. It is lightweight. Now for the cons -I will not be using this for much of anything else because its suction power is only weak to average at best. Additionally, the button to turn it on/use it must be pressed down the entire time while using it, which can be tiring to my hand.. if you are looking for something to vacuum your car or anything heavy duty than I would go with something stronger. ... show more
