This smoke stack cover was exactly what I was needing for my brand new Traeger grill! I have a lot of squirrels and birds that are always around my house and I would hate for them to start storing their belongings in my grill. This thing feels heavy duty, it’s pretty heavy and sturdy for what it is, so hopefully it doesn’t get moved easily and the wind doesn’t blow it off as well. Overall it serves its intended purpose well for me, 5/5 stars, definitely recommend!

I couldn’t be more pleased with this chimney cap for my pellet smoker. I didn't realize that such a small and simple design could add so much functionality to my smoker. It’s incredibly easy to use. It simply slides right into place over the existing chimney, making installation a breeze. Once in position, it does an excellent job of keeping the majority of the smoke inside the barrel, especially during cold smoking sessions. A small amount of smoke will still escape through the screw slot, but its really not a big deal. Another feature I love is the magnetic design. When not in use, the cap conveniently sticks to the side of the smoker, so it’s always right where you need it and doesn’t take up extra space. Overall, I’d give this chimney cap an easy 5 out of 5. It’s simple, effective, and adds so much convenience to my smoking process.

This fits the opening on my Trager Pro 780 perfectly. After hearing a few stories about critters making nests in there, etc, I wanted to make sure that doesn't happen to mine, so I ordered this cover. As you can see, it covers the hole, keeping out mice, or wasps (if they're a pest that will get into this, I don't know for sure if this would be an issue, I just know my pest guy has to remove new wasp hives once or twice a year in our eaves, so just making sure), or any other kind of pest that might decide my smoke stack is the perfect place to live. I also like that it can be attached to the smoker with the magnets in the cover when cooking, as that makes it easy to store and easy to find and place back on when the cook is done. This keeps the stack covered, and safe from most nuisances. It matches the smoker perfectly, and looks like it came with the original equipment. It took all of 2 seconds to place it on the stack, and, between this cover and a new grease can that keeps that opening covered, I'm happy that my smoker should remain pest free in between uses. It's at a great price to keep critters away, and I recommend it.

Fit perfectly on my Pit Boss pellet smoker. Quality appears to be on par with my smoker. Convenient magnet makes storage easier.

I don't own a Traeger, I have a Char Griller which is similar in many ways with parts bits being interchangeable. This cover didn't quite fit perfectly but close enough to do the job. It was a tiny bit small and doesn't fully seat. I certainly can't ding the seller for it not fitting something it wasn't designed for. That being said, I love what this does bring. One of my more common complaints about the pellet grill is that it doesn't smoke as much as I would like. This will help hold the smoke in and I've added to the functionality by using some magnets to adjust the crack in the cover when needed. I'm always happy when I gain more functionality out of an old product!
