I was kind of expecting this to be a little bit more flimsy than it was. Directions weren't amazing, but my daughter and I put it together relatively easily. Please keep in mind that the geometrics aren't accurate so we initially tried to put the ends on the wrong direction. Once we got that figured out, it went together pretty easily. The door is a bit flimsy, and the handle is relatively pathetic so mine is closed using bungee cords because I'm trying to keep in cats not just chickens. In that theme, because my cats are escape artists, I wound wire around all of the existing poles to secure the chicken wire better than zip ties. I know firsthand the zip ties get dry and crack and I didn't need any escaping felines! It was a colossal pain in the neck, but I feel very confident that my cats won't be able to push through any of the areas on the chicken wire. I also "sewed" shut any overlapping seams with wire to make sure they wouldn't pull apart with a curious nose or claw. I liked that the chicken wire is plastic coated so it wasn't so abrasive when I was working with it . Kind of wish that the tent poles it came to secure it to the ground were a little bit more robust but I will just have to purchase my own to make sure it doesn't make into a kite in the spring and fall. Edited review, PLEASE read full review and make your decision from there. I left a 1 star review due to the picture and what happened. I edited it to 4 as the seller read my review and gave me a full refund without me asking for anything at all because I had bought it roughly 6 months prior so expected a full loss. They also called me a few days later to apologize and tell me they were going to refund me. What I would say is no matter your decision to plan on adding at least 1 or 2 center supports to avoid this situation. That and maybe remove the tarp in the winter if you are in a snowy location. If you reinforce the center this would be a decent little run for the cost. If you live anywhere that gets weather especially I highly advise you skip this item. It snowed today and we got approximately 2-3 inches max of snow on top of the tarp coverage area and the entire thing collapsed completely destroying the structure, breaking half of the welds, and killing a portion of our flock. When purchased and put together it was fairly easy to put together, but also a bit cheap the way it was made. The absolute cheapest materials possible are provided and you are expected to piece together the thinnest chicken wire ever with a million zipties. It is very light and flimsy. I would not recommend this item to anyone if you value your money or your flocks lives. ... show more

    • The coop is good but the customer service is exceptional.
I have ordered a few of these little coops, I use them as tractor pens and they work exactly like I need them too, they are relatively easy to snap together the only pain is putting the wire on them, it’s not hard just a pain. I would also upgrade the zip ties the ones that come with it are not great. That said all-in-all they are decent and I’ll order them again. The customer service the seller provides is hands down the best on Amazon! They have earned a customer for life. I have had several problems that were out of the sellers hands and they have replaced my order not once, but twice!!! First time, my order was lost and without question they sent a new one, the second time I was missing a price and again without question they sent a new coop, not just the part!! Thank you seller, like I said I’ll buy from you over and over again!! ... show more

The anchors that go into the ground aren't strong enough. One gust of wind moved it over a few inches, had to re-anchor it. Another gust with a downpour, came about a month after and I have no clue where it's at. Only the door is in the yard. We got this to keep the wildlife out of our garden beds and it’s been amazing! My husband is 6’4”so we decided to raise it up so that we can all walk comfortably around inside and also to make sure it’s super secure as we get a lot of high winds. The end result has been better than we hoped for! The kit came with everything we needed minus the extra for raising it up. The frame is sturdy enough that we have have recently installed irrigation along the top as well for extra ease of watering. We can’t recommend this enough. It was a bit of a project getting the wire all on as it comes in one big roll so be prepared to have to take some time to trim and fit properly. But we had plenty of wire and a little extra to cover the whole thing. ... show more

UPDATE- this pens roof completely collapsed in during the first snow fall. Poles are bent, tarp is ripped in many places, completely ruined. DO NOT BUY if you live in area of snow. Guess I’m the only one that likes this run based on other reviews. Was easy to put together but took some time. Took 2 adults about 2 hours to assemble. Instructions were clear. We had plenty of chicken wire, had to use some extra zip ties we had on hand so wouldn’t be a bad item to grab extras. Also we used more sturdy stakes to hold it down. This was perfect for my needs. We have a fully fenced in back yard and 3 dogs so I didn’t need something completely predictor proof, this will not keep out other animals! My dogs love to sniff around it, but they aren’t hunters and are well trained. I would think if you have a crazy dog that wanted what’s inside this wouldn’t keep them out of it. My chickens love it. We have 7 and it’s the perfect size for them. ... show more
