Excellent! I leveled the ground with rakes and shovels, put an underlayment out, and set this lovely pool up. It took me a month of weekends as I’m nearly 60 and had no help, but you have even ONE person to help you, set up should be a breeze. I had to call Bestway customer service to help figure out the top pieces were INSIDE the leg pieces, and the lady who helped me was fantastic. This pool is great! It’s the perfect size for my yard and depth for my kids to learn to swim in as they can touch the bottom. We unboxed and put the frame together in just under two hours. It took about 10 hours to fill and we’ve used it everyday. Great purchase!!

    • Pump doesn't work!!

Easy to set up, but its not all steel, the joints that hold the top together snap together with flimsy feeling plastic. It doesn't feel made to last very long. The filter pump for the pool also will not turn on, I have reached out to see if I can't get it replaced since it seems to to have any juice, it doesn't even attempt to start.. will update based on customer service response The chinchers for the pump also don't tighten down enough and it was leaking from the connectors of where the filters start. That being said this thing feels taller than I though the size would be! That portion is nice but the other issues take my rating down as for the money I spent I would expect the pump to work as well. Hopefully with the customer serive it will be worth the time and effort we have put into it. ... show more

The only thing was that the filter won't last long for the amount of water in the pool. Other than that, it's great. The filter it comes with is a great starter; just plan to get a higher-capacity filter soon. I had already planned to swap out for a sand-based filter.

I received the Bestway Steel Pro Max 14'x48" Camo pool set about four days later than expected, but that wasn’t a major issue. Once it arrived, I was able to unbox and assemble the pool by myself in around two hours—no tools needed, which was a big plus. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, though it’s worth noting that they come in three separate booklets, which can be a little confusing at first. The liner feels strong and well-made, and all the upright pieces snapped into place easily. The included pump is working well so far and seems to be doing a good job of keeping the water clean. My only real complaint is with the pool cover. It’s extremely difficult to put on—even with help. It’s made to fit so tightly that there’s no slack at all, which makes it almost impossible to stretch it over the pool. A little more flexibility or a redesign here would go a long way. Overall, I give this pool 4 out of 5 stars. It’s a solid value for the price, and if the cover fit better, it would have been a perfect 5. ... show more
